On GCW status:

“Brett Lauderdale is my friend, my best friend. He’s done a lot for my career. GCW’s always going to be a place I go, it’s always going to be my home."

“But, sometimes you got to move on in your career, sometimes you don’t see eye to eye with your friends, but, it is what it is.”

On current plans:

“What I’m trying to do is get this MDK media off the ground, man. Podcasts, blogs, I’m going to start opening it up and show a different side of me.”

“I’m starting from the ground up again. So, it’s kind of tough, but it’s good to see people reach out and help out a little because pretty soon I’m going to take that and flip it, and I’m going to be alright because I’ve got a plan here.”

“I’m building bridges right now, podcasts, blogs, maybe a new promotion."

On recent rehab stint:

“I am proud that I went there. I will not ever, ever apologize for that. I was exhausted. I was headed down the wrong path, but I’m glad I noticed that and I’m glad I had people in my corner, and I’m glad I went there.”

Addressing Brett Lauderdale's implication that someone lured him out of rehab:

“I want to clear something up; nobody made me leave that place. I’m a grown-ass man. Nobody makes me do anything.”

“I left because I felt good."

So it makes me wonder about the contract he signed because if I recall correctly, he was the only one under one...and then Brett posted this on Twitter

This has nothing to do with the contract. He's commenting on this because Nick Gage said in this same interview that Jon Moxley forced Lauderdale to pay Gage as much as Moxley for the matches they worked.

Lauderdale is basically saying yes that's true and also kind of saying it's ridiculous that anyone would be upset he would pay Moxley more than Nick Gage lol this is a situation I do kind of see both sides on.

As far as the contract goes, Nick got guaranteed money, but obviously they still had to pay Moxley when he worked for them too, that doesn't mean Moxley had a contract

By both sides I mean, I don't really think Brett should be villainized for paying Moxley more but I do think it's cool Moxley got his opponent a higher rate for a program they worked.
