The Wrestling Observer is reporting that Matt Hardy suffered a torn abdominal muscle while taping the main event match for Superstars last night. The bout will be a triple threat match for The US Title featuring Kofi Kingston vs Matt Hardy vs MVP. It's being reported that Hardy is scheduled for surgery later this week, and there is no word at this point concerning how much time he may be out of action.

:roflmao:

Matt Hardy will not be with WWE come this time next year

This would never have happened if they didn't bury him.

It's all the WWE's fault anyway, did they not listen to his protests?

Matt Hardy won't lose his job over this, he didn't injure anyone like Kennedy. it isn't a coincidence that most of WWE's roster gets injured 80 times more than TNA stars, either make the schedule less brutal or don't be surprised to see half of the WWE roster injured/beat up

poor matt, he has been buried since going to raw.

why did they bother in putting him over jeff at mania, if he was gonna be buried on raw.

but didnt he broke his hand at backlash?, So tbh it's wwe fault in putting him continually wrestle while being injured?

Yeah, let's face it, taking a bump (e.g. over the ropes) must be a awkward if you're wearing a cast.

They should have just made out he had internal injuries after that splash through the table from Jeff and kept him off TV til he was at least a bit closer to recovery.

I assume the poor bastard's been forced to work house shows too.

Unless he comes back with a short buzzcut and medicore mic skills then he's the next Kennedy. But I wish him the best (not really, I hate Hardy lol)

Next Kennedy? He takes more than 20 minutes to progress to another injury.

Yeah I don't at all think he's the next Kennedy.... he's been around way longer, and is just a better wrestler in general. WOW, one injury.... he'll be fine! I do think moving him to Raw was a stupid idea, they should have maybe kept him on SD if ya ask me
