* Wrestle-1 announced that two TNA wrestlers will be competing on their November 16th show at Korakuen Hall. No word yet on who they are, but both are supposedly "recommended" stars.

* Tokyo Sports is also reporting that Wrestle-1 star Seiya Sanada is interested in going to TNA. Jeff Jarrett took a strong liking to Sanada during his recent trip to Japan.

Sounds like good news. On the matter of who goes to Japan I guess it depends on who is "recommended" and if it will result in a extended stay. If it is Hardy I don't think it will work since his general style doesn't mech well with Japanese style, plus if it was a long term stay TNA would miss him and he is needed as a major draw. If it is a young gun like say King or Garrett I am all for it. Both could benefit like hell from a couple of months in Japan.

On the matter of Sanada I guess it comes down to how TNA would use him. Their track records with Japanese wrestlers isn't exactly stellar (Out of the 3 big US promotions only 1 has done well with Asian talent and that's ROH) in retrospective but I think he'd fill a nice spot in the X division. And it would certainly benefit his career and Wrestle-1 in the long run.

TNA wrestlers are going for one show only (that is the info I have atm), and I believe one of them is Samoa Joe. Hell no on Hardy going there.

Doubt they'll be in Japan for a couple of months, really doubt.

About Sanada, reportedly there are talks of him being in TNA for a bit longer.

Whatever it is, I hope it turns good for both sides.

Joe in Japan I can get behind. As for Sanada being in TNA for a longer while, again comes back to how willing TNA will be to do something with him. Okada was in TNA for almost two years if I remember correctly and they never really did anything with him apart from being Joe's Green Hornet esqe sidekick. Are they willing to send him back as TNA superstar Sanada or TNA jobber Sanada, that's the question. (I'm not saying throw the world title on him, but are they willing to invest time in getting a non English speaker over and taken seriously with the fans?)

Well basically the deal with Okada was to give him some TV experience and the overall aura of being in a major company etc (hence why he was a jobber and Xplosion regular).
I really doubt that's the deal with Sanada, as this is talent exchange, which means a match or two (for now).
Even if Sanada stays for longer, it'll be Mutoh who dictates if he can be jobber or not.

Then I guess the crux will be in how they bring in a relatively unknown commodity for a short period of time and make him feel like a big deal/something worth caring about watching. He's not exactly monster big physically so he cannot come in like Brock does when he plays the role of Godzilla in the WWE (arrive, fuck shit up, leave). I guess the world X cup would be a nice way to use him but we haven't seen that for a while.

It's more often than not easier to plan how to use someone if you have him for a longer period since you can plan out a start, middle and end. Will be interesting to see what they do with him.

Yeah true. TNA might not get to bring any talent in at all and just get to send talent over. Will be interesting to see what comes out of this.

Nah, that was the deal with NOAH, not W-1. They sent Daniels, Magnus & Joe to NOAH but no one showed up in TNA.
Here however, both Jarrett and Mutoh confirmed a concrete "exchange". That is good news.

INB4 W-1 sends Renee Duprée.
