This explains why he wasn't released along with Manu.

I never really though Sim was that great on the stick. Plus, who would he replace at the moment? Maybe they are grooming him to replace Lawler if he decides to hang it up in a few years.

Jerry Lawler can say that he and Cole aren't slackers, but a statement like "we just want to get in there, get the show over and leave" speaks by itself. The King is getting tired.
