People say shit like this, but I disagree. Look at the AE, aka the smarks wet dream, and every single world title match was no DQ and there were tons of gimmick matches throughout the period.

Pretty much but recent PPVs at least had some variety like there was a TLC match back in like 07 or 06 for No Mercy I think someone can correct me.
