Just under one and a half hours ago the clocked ticked over to 2011 and so I thought I would find out if anyone on the forum is making a New Year's resolution for this year?

I have never done one in the past but this year I thought I may aswell make some goals for myself.

- Take more risks. This applies with a lot of things for me. I am a very conservative person in all I do so I rarely take risks. I over think things and by the time I have thought about I start saying to myself that I should have done this and that when the situation occured. Taking more risks and not over analysing everything is my main goal.

What is your New Year's resolution(s) for this year and have you ever done one in the past?

Well my new years resolution this year is to lose weight. I am not joking this year it's time I got in shape because being big could lead to problems later in life and I don't want that so I am going to knuckle down next year and make 2011 the year I become skinny again!

I am also going to make 2011 a year for exercise. I want to drop some weight and turn that into muscle. I was at a friend's today for UFC 125 and he showed me a kettlebell that he just bought. I used it for a bit and it is an awesome piece of equipment and tomorrow I am going to order one. I am also going to look around for a good priced home gym so I can workout at home rather than pay huge amounts to go to a gym. So much more convinient at home and it can replace the dumbells and barbell and weight bench that I have at home.

Yes I do not believe in going to the gym and in my eyes i cant see it being much fun more of an embarrasment showing my body. I have now got a fitness game for kinect and I'm starting running very soon.
