New TNA Video Game Planned?, Details Inside

According to Destructoid.com, SouthPeak Interactive will be publishing a new TNA video game, titled "Cross the Line" for Nintendo DS and PlayStation Portable/PSPgo.

SouthPeak announced that they acquired "certain assets" from Midway relating to the TNA iMPACT! wrestling brand. As of now, there is no word on if they also received the rights to the second video game that was in production when Midway filed for bankruptcy.

the game wasn't bad it just lacked so many features, almost every review it got praised the core gameplay, ultimate X match was great but could use improving, the wrestlers graphics were way better than SVR even the latest SVR. the creator mode sucked so much though, tag matches sucked , but having a 1 on 1 match with a friend or an ultimate x match with a friend was good. still has the best reversal system in a wrestling game in my opinion.

The graphics were incredible but did nothing to save the game at all. I literally played for 45 minutes and returned it to Gamestop.

It was too glitchy and limited. There would be times you end up halfway into the mat, and earch wrestler had basically the same 5 moves except the X Division wrestlers.

It should have been a hint that when I bought iMPACT the day after it came out and Gamestop already had about 15 pre-owned copies.
