Kurt Angle announced this evening on his twitter account that he and TNA had come to terms on a new one year deal. Angle quipped, "I am there for a while! Unless I lose at BFG. Then I will retire."

According to my records, Angle signed a five year deal in 2006, which would end in 2011, so who knows.

It doesn't surprised me that he re-signed with TNA since he didn't really have an option back in WWE. He has done a lot for TNA and they must be treating him well so it seems like a good deal for both parties. He does have business outside of TNA so he seems set for what he wants to do next once he does eventually retire.

I found his comment on twitter funny where he said "Unless I lose at BFG. Then I will retire." It is quite clear he won't lose at BFG.

Very strange comment, although it is only a one year contract, so I believe in the back of his mind that he would still like to return to WWE before retiring.
