Erick Stevens defeated Rodderick Strong for the FIP title, and The Age of the Fall defeated The Briscoes Bros.

I think its great that Stevens won the FIP, and now Strong can become a major threat to the ROH title.

But, i am very shocked to see the Age of the Fall, not only win the titles, but it seems they won them too quick. I know they been fueding for a while, but I really didnt see the briscoes losing this year. I really didnt even see Aotf beating them for the belts. Can Aotf be a main event tag team?

Well, Jacobs has been a part of a championship tag team in the past (With Whitmer) and I see no reason why he can't do it again. Besides, the Briscoes have been the champs for most of the year, they had to drop it eventually.

I'm more surprised by the FIP title switch. I always thought that the belt would only change hands in FIP shows instead of an ROH show... Though I wonder, had Nigel been able to defend his title at Final Battle, would we even have new Tag and FIP champs?

I went to the show and the performance AOTF put on proved they could main event. That match was the match of the night i believe. The crowd was dead for the fip match

The Briscoes cant hold on to the belts forever, so the switch was inevitable. as for AOF they are defiantly a main event tag team, they have Jimmy Jacobs that is all that needs to be said

No Naomichi Marufuji should be next champ. But that won't happen. So I think Bryan Dannielson 1st 2 time ROH champ

The Age Of The Fall as Tag Champs is fine, The Briscoes obviously cant hold on to those tag straps for ever. I'm just wondering who is gonna challenge aotf for the tag titles now.

even better than that is for Low Ki to come back and be the 1st two time champ, talk about creating a buzz

besides that the matches would be fucking insane
Low Ki vs Aries
Low Ki vs Bryan
Low Ki vs CC
Low Ki vs Jimmy Jacobs =

thats of course when Jimmy gets elevated to the main event and gets a full year title run. its going to happen mark my words

I know a majority think that the Briscoes were bound to lose their titles due to their long title reign but what puzzled me after seeing the videowire was wasn't it a bit too soon for the AOTF to win the straps. IMO the feud should have been pushed longer before the title change. As for the next in line as #1 Contenders, I think The Briscoes will feud with AOTF for a while longer for them to try and take the belts back. Then next would be either the Vulture Squad or The NRC cause Steen and Generico seem to be busy with the Hangman 3.

As for Rooooderick losing the FIP title, I think it's not much of a loss than it is of a gain cause like Montana said, It makes him more of a threat now to the ROH World Title. I mean he has held the FIP belt for a long time already and it's time to move on to bigger things. So yeah. I think both Stevens and Strong got something out of that title exchange.
