The following is from WWE.com:

“He’s here to stake his claim as the person that should be the new Chairman,â€￾ speculated the source. “I know what happened to Mr. McMahon last week was a horrific tragedy, but WWE is still an empire that needs a figurehead, and that vacant throne at the Chairman’s desk is mighty tempting for anybody – especially for a COO.â€￾

“As much as Coachman was broken up about Mr. McMahon’s passing – and he was distraught about it all week – he was hoping that a big promotion would take away some of the pain. Now, who knows if he’ll get a raise or if he’ll even have a job when the new boss starts. If I were him, I’d be nice to Sileck, even though nothing is confirmed, but who knows, man. It can’t hurt to be nice to anyone who’s a contender for the position.â€￾

“I’m here to help out in any way possible,â€￾ said the COO. “I have taken on additional responsibilities since last week, and the main reason I’m here today is to discuss the tragedy with WWE employees who work on the road.â€￾

I wonder who the new Chairman will be? Obviously it will be someone who is not a McMahon ... but who? Heyman/Bischoff are ruled out, so who does that leave? Coach will be pissed whoever it is though, I feel.

I don't believe it... it doesn't sound like the WWE to do it just like that in one night. They'll carry it out.

The little place in the back of your mind that you
Well the WWE is really rushing this along quickly. Since wikipedia has a block on editing Vince McMahon until after Vengeance so we are going to find out who blew up the limo and I think that if there is a chairman tonight it is likely going to be Shane or Stephanie but I am leaning more toward Shane. But I am so surprised by the rush of pushing this storyline along rather quickly when you can really drag this storyline out and make it good along the way. I think it would be better if this was dragged out over a period of time and reveal who the "suspect" is at Summerslam.

i think this is just the start of the storyline. i mean, they might have a new chairman, then the chairman will send people to investigate then slowly find evidance.

Ok this is kinda strange, makes me wonder if this was put up early because I saw it yesterday, and then it was gone like 3 hours later.

Coulda been a mistake and meant for next weeks Raw.

Knowing them it will be Vinces identical twin brother!!! Or maybe Jack Tuney came back rofl Or it could even be Tony Schavone or however you spell his name. I would expect Shane would take a much more prominent role though. I think everyone has liked seeing him better on tv. Now McMahon I always thought made a great color commentator.Back in the days with him,Perfect,Lawler it was good.

Jack Tuney is dead in real life, so I'm pretty sure it won't be him. And the WWE would touch Tony Shavone with a 10 foot pole :)
