Wrestling-Radio.com has learned via The Wrestling Observer that TNA is currently looking for a new ring announcer. One name that has been mentioned is Gary Michael Cappetta, who worked for WCW and also worked for Ring of Honor in recent years, but has not done anything with the industry since leaving WCW more than a decade ago. Cappetta currently works as a Spanish teacher at New Jersey's Christian Brothers Academy.

An unconfirmed report is also being circulated that officials within TNA have been considering asking former WWE ring announcer Lilian Garcia to join the company. While Lilian may be "very much aware" of TNA, she has never publicly acknowledged them. According to close friends, Lilian has said that she considers herself "very loyal to WWE" and could never see herself working for TNA. While Lilian may have enjoyed working for WWE, she cited the road schedule as her main reason for leaving the company last year. Lilian recently moved to Los Angeles to pursue an entertainment career, so it looks like a return to the pro wrestling industry is very highly unlikely.

In the time you took to type that, you could of actually said something about the matter. I thought it was something news worthy and to get some discussion sparking.

Who's announcing for them right now? Why not just keep them?

Seriously, with name recognition comes a bigger paycheck, which is money TNA doesn't need to be spending at this moment. If need be, hire an unknown, TNA saves money and if the person's good, they make a name for themselves. It's a win-win situation.
