New Angle Planned For Cena and AJ Lee

- The doctrine to stay away from the idea of John Cena and AJ Lee being a couple because of Cena's photos with Nikki Bella on TMZ ended this past week on RAW. The new idea appears to be to portray AJ as the psycho girl that Cena needs to get away from.

The only plus side to this though is that Cena isn't in the main event constantly, it gives time to Ryback/Punk which can never be a bad thing. Though I'd much rather AJ just wrestle in the divas division with Dolph and Cena feuding without distractions.

Does anyone else really want to see a one on one mic segment between Dolph and Cena? Similar to Punk/Cena, that could be gold.

I totally agree with you Crayo she should be fighting in the divas division she and I agree with the bit saying it gives the other guys to have more events in the main.

OK, maybe I'm lost because I haven't seen the Cena/Bella photos, but I'm confused. How would those photos on TMZ have anything to do with the Cena/AJ storyline? Can someone explain, please?

Those who have seen me around here before pretty much know my thoughts on the AJ Lee storylines anyway. For me, she is becoming more like -- dare I say it -- Claire Lynch, in that at this point I really just want her off my TV. She's suppose to be a wrestler, so let her wrestle. These soap opera-ish storylines and making her out to be a slut going around kissing every Superstar on the roster is ridiculous. It got old quick, and I didn't like it to start with. I'll be glad when the crap ends, but doing the once-again psycho chick to avoid bit is frustrating, as well.

Also, they mention the whole Cena/AJ couple idea ending, yet after Monday's Raw Cena and AJ were bantering on Twitter with some inuendo, early into Tuesday I think.

Basically, photos were leaked regarding Cena and one of the Bella twins date (they're dating). WWE didn't want to have AJ/Cena continue while everyone knew about Cena/Bella basically.

Ahh, I gotcha. Kayfabe lives, huh? Of course, DB is dating one of the Bella twins, and as far as I know that's been public knowledge for a while now, but they had AJ doing the storyline with him....
