So uhh today was my renewal date for my Netflix and it got closed down because it couldn't take the funds out of my paypal account because there was less than the amount.. well I put $8.59 in my PayPal account for the last 6 months now because that's how much it costed.. Turns out there was a price change in Netflix for the US, not so sure if they did it for Canada and the UK too but basically since I watched shit in HD prior to the change it automatically switched my account to an $8.99 + taxes subscription rather than my $7.99 + taxes one.. So I go online to see what the hell is up and notice that they have new options.. $7.99 gets you 1 streaming device at a time and only standard definition; you have to pony up $1.36 extra after taxes a month just to view it in HD while also getting the feature of being able to watch on two streaming devices at a time. I had heard the change was about to be coming but didn't really think it would happen like that. Anyway just thought I'd share with you and see what you thought about their new pricing system they implemented (should you have been affected).

^Site says existing custies won't be affected for two years but that stops if you have to cancel your account temporarily due to fund shortage or what not.

Yeah. I saw that price increase for new customers bit coming. Luckily, with everything else going on in the last 18 months, I've never had to cancel my Netflix subscription.
