I was probably gonna get a Netbook(since there cheaper then Laptops) for Christmas and I was just wanting to know what might a good brand be.

Now it ain't gotta be top of the line and have all this fancy crap or anything. But I want something good and that works.

So if you could please maybe give me a few idea's I'll be very grateful and will rep you.

Asus is a pretty good brand. Most of their models have a rather lengthy battery life and are between 200 and 450 dollars depending on what you buy.

the hP ones are very very very nice.... their nicest one is now $400.. cheapest on on their market

Well I found a laptop made by acer also that seems good...and its only 499.99 and my dad said anything like that be good.

I saw a pair of netbooks at walmart for like 200 dollars. The space was low, but ive got a 16 gig external drive.. so its kinda caught my eye. it would only be used for school though.

thoughs?

meh this isn't imporant anymore.

Found a good Laptop for less then 500(was on sale..off sale it be real close to 600)

Got a great Hard Drive and all that...
