This situation is a mess. Every party has questions they need to answer.
For the Pennsylvania State Athletic Commission: Were they prepared to allow Marquardt to fight without a therapeutic use exemption and with the knowledge that he had taken testosterone leading up to the bout? Why did they not insist he apply for an exemption?
For the New Jersey State Athletic Control Board: Why was Marquardt granted a conditional therapeutic use exemption? (And "because he went along with the protocol" is not a valid answer.) Do they believe the situation was unfair to Dan Miller?
For the UFC: Why was Dana White, as he claims, only made aware of the situation on the Thursday before the fight despite Marquardt having failed a test the week prior? Did Marquardt have to file a request for an exemption for UFC 122 in Germany (where the UFC acted as hte de facto commission)? Did the UFC administer blood tests to Marquardt? How many? Were his testosterone levels acceptable?
For Nate Marquardt: Who was the doctor that prescribed and administered treatment? Why is there reluctance to name him or her?

Sirb also informed Heavy.com that Marquardt is still under suspension in Pennsylvania. The commission received paperwork from Marquardt that indicates, according to the latter, that his testosterone levels are currently within range. Sirb and fellow board members will review the paperwork over the next few days.
Sirb also informed Heavy.com that the commission had been aware of Marquardt's situation "for several weeks" leading up to the fight.
