Nate Diaz will remain a UFC fighter. Diaz, a top contender in the UFC's lightweight division thanks to his recent wins over Donald Cerrone and Jim Miller, has signed a new contract with promotion.
"Just wrapped up another deal with Nate (Diaz) and (Cesar Gracie)," White posted on Twitter Monday night. Deal done."
White posed with Diaz, Gracie, and UFC co-owner Lorenzo Fertitta on Twitter. Gracie is the trainer and manager for Diaz and his brother, Nick, along with several others.
The meeting was also expected to have discussions about Nick Diaz and his fighting overseas while serving out his suspension. No word on if those talks did take place.
Nate has definitely deserved this, glad the UFC recognizes him now.
