Oh Look...Grievous is doing another list because
he has nothing better to do with him time.
Yep...you called it.
Now with that said...here are my Top 10 films of 2017...
1). Kong: Skull Island:
No surprise this is number 1 really...I'm a monster guy...
and this film is filled with monsters.
2). Split:
I've always been a Shyamalan fan...even when his films
were terrible. Thankfully this film is fantastic.
3). Guardians of the Galaxy Vol.2:
It was nowhere near as good as the original but it was
still a fun but serious space adventure. Long Live Yondu!
4). Wonder Woman:
Well...they finally got a DC film right...and shockingly it
was the one I thought they'd botch the most.
5). War for the Planet of the Apes:
No surprise this is on my list..I'm a big fan of these films
and Andy Serkis is one of all time favorite actors.
6). Life:
An incredibly creepy Alien contact film that felt more
like an Alien film than Alien Covenant.
7). The Belko Experiment:
The Office meets MURDER!!!
8). Spider-Man: Homecoming:
It was fun...the Vulture was cool and Marisa Tomei
made for a hot Aunt Mae. No more reboots now.
9). Power Rangers:
It was better than what I expected & Elizabeth Banks
was great as Rita Repulsa.
10). Colossal:
A kaiju/comedy that kind of worked I guess...Anne
Hathaway is cute and I like looking at her.
Bonus: Films that Hurt Me the Most:
Alien: Covenant:
While looked & sounded fantastic...the characters
& story were FUCKING awful with the many questions
left over from Prometheus simply having a bomb dropped
on them.
Star Wars: The Last Jedi:
Again...it looked & sounded amazing...but the story,
character "development" & forced humor killed it dead.
Well...that's me done...what about you guys?
What films did you enjoy the most this year?
Be sure to post a list yourself and like I always
say...I'll see you around the traps.
