I hadn't watched WWE in three years prior to this past week. Just binged watched upon request and constructed a take. First, I'll confirm issues you've all brought up:
WWE is not NOT compelling and their stories do NOT make sense. WWE is NOT interesting and WWE is NOT coherent in their ability to develop any characters whatsoever.
From what I can tell their programming accomplishes one task and one task only: WWE programming is just....fun. That's it.
I actually believe wrestling fans take the product far too seriously. They analyze with too much depth. Now, I won't deny many of you are experts. Maybe wrestling geniuses. WWE isn't a perfectly orchestrated entity. Not even close. You're too wrestling-intelligent if that makes any sense.
I encourage you all to ditch WWE. You're too advanced. If it's not fun (and only fun), don't bother.
