My optimistic thread

There have been several times in my life that i have been kicked when im down. Today, for the first time in my life i experienced hard work paying off. As of july 1st my company ive been working at was bought by s.p. Richards. I had to submit urine screens ( passed i dont do drugs..... At least not drugs that stay in my system long) As well as a background check. Unfortunately for me, my background consists if 10 misdemeanors for various reasons. At 3:30 pm est i was fired, and basically thinking about how living on the street might feel. At 530, i have the head of hr knocking on the door, and when i opened gave me the biggwst hug and said " we can't let you go, we love you" They fought for me to keep my position because believe it or not i am a decent fellow and a hard worker.

No matter your past, don't beat yourself up. The night is darkest before dawn

Funniest part was that my meeting with HR was supposed to be yesterday and it was moved to today (when i was fired/rehired) Yesterday was my birthday lol. They would have had to fire me on my bday.
