My mom told me TNA was run by the McMahon family. It's not. TNA is run by Eric Bishoff, Jeff Jarett and Hulk Hogan.

I'm gonna let one of the hardcore TNA marks explain it fully but TNA is owned by it's president Dixie Carter. Hogan is a on screen authority figure, Jeff Jarett I am unsure on what he has for a position currently, he left for a while to run their Indian promotion. Bischoff is just an executive producer so he has power but not enough power to run the entire company.

Yeah. My mom still thinks it is run by WWE.

TNA has never been affiliated with WWE.

Your right. TNA is like the retirement home for WWE. They've taken in The Hardy's, Sting, Christian, Hulk Hogan, Ric Flair, Mick Foley, and Kurt Angle. That's 8 superstars.

That's a bit of a mean statement (I am sure you didn't mean for it to be though). TNA has a whole lot of homegrown talent that are some of the best wrestlers out there.

Austin Aries, Bobby Roode, James Storm, AJ Styles, Samoa Joe, The Motor City Machineguns... the list goes on. TNA is also currently putting out a better product than the WWE by far. If you don't watch it I suggest giving it a watch.

That still doesn't mean there is a affiliation with WWE. As the smaller company you will always get talent from the bigger company. But as Stopspot stated TNA has a lot of good home-grown talent.

I sense sarcasm, yet you fail to quote the quality of wrestlers that Stopspot stated such as Austin Aries, Bobby Roode, James Storm, AJ Styles, Samoa Joe, The Motor City Machineguns.

Zema Ion, Sonjay Dutt, Kenny King, TNA turned Bubba Ray Dudley into the best villain in pro wrestling, Abyss, Christopher Daniels, Kazarian. There is a long long list of great wrestlers coming from TNA

TNA is owned by Dixie's dad's company in Panda energy that's basically it. I think her dad is called Bob also, not really sure.

I'm the biggest TNA mark here but I love how people just count stealing ROH guys who are ready for a step up as home grown talent.

Roode and Storm are two of the only real home grown talents I consider TNA to have 'grown' off the top of my head.

AJ, Daniels, Kaz, Abyss, Magnus and EY are other home grown guys IMO.
