The font doesnt suit the star.
So you either add a similar effect to the star than can make it look almost like the font, or jst vice versa.
This is because it looks just misplaced and not really suiting each other.
Other thing, when you want to have a logo, try to have a transparent bkg at the very beginning before working on it.
