Alright, so I am a junior and I decided that College isn't for me. I made that decision a long time ago and I decided to go into the trades since I take a Machine Shop Class at school. Well we took a field trip to an Electrical Plant and they are offering an internship. Which basically is I go there all summer to learn about what they do...and they pay me. The starting pay is 9.50 an hour, 40 hours a week. Seems pretty sweet right, but they got me by the nuts because they require you to work 4:30-8:30 everyday after school. Now, some people might think, oh stop wining, but I live about 35 minutes from school already and this place is 3-4 miles farther than school. The pay is pretty sweet, but it's my senior yr next year and I am going to be tied up, plus I run on wrestling, it's my passion, it's what I am, and now I will probably miss it all of my senior year. What's your opinion on this?

BTW: If I do the summer and the senior year program, they give me a full time job after I graduate.

Take the job dude. Seriously, you will regret the pay if you don't. Trust me, not having a job and no money sucks nut. You have something to record on at your house right? Just record the shows you watch and watch them when you have free time.

you still got plenty of time to study and watch wrestling if you took the job.........................when do you get back home? 9? you got 3-4 hours before you GTS...2 hours for wrestling, one hour for studying/eating/taking a shit.

you dont need to go out with your friends EVERYDAY. weekends are enough...

well whats the minimum age you have to be to work there?
do they hire minors?
