This is to be published in my school's magazine. What you guys think?

After what must have seemed like an incredibly slow two year wait, fans of popular heavy metal band Avenged Sevenfold can finally rejoice. They are back with their self-titled fourth album.
Although a concrete date cannot be given, it was estimated that heavy metal was invented in the late 1960s or early 1970s. Its boom period was probably in the 1980s, when bands like Motley Crue and Metallica took the music world by storm.
In this album, Avenged Sevenfold retains the familiar heavy metal sound that they have mastered, while incorporating an element of punk rock as well. They have said that they take motivation and influence from popular punk rock band NOFX.
The first two singles really demonstrate what Avenged Sevenfold is all about. “Critical Acclaimâ€￾ and “Almost Easyâ€￾ is chock full of screaming and guitar solos, but it still comes off pleasant to the untrained ear. M.Shadows, the lead vocalist, has a voice that’s easy on the ears despite the screaming, and Synyster Gates has to be one of the best guitarist in the whole rock world.
One gripe about the album though is that it doesn’t stray too far from the tried and tested methods of previous albums.

Well, you're a little late, firstly. Lol.

I disagree. I think the last album was WAY more different than any of the others. It was a lot softer in general.

um, i think you could have added more to it, it looks kinda vague in content. I mean its too simple and you could have added abit more to it, for example, the members of the band, the instruments used in this type of music.. etc.

I was supposed to write on house music, which is a total bore, so I got them to allow me to write up on an older album. And I think we can sense that it's softer, but to the general public who don't listen to their songs, it'll probably sound the same anyway.

I only had a 200 word limit to work with, so that's alittle problem.
