What ever happened to him?
Anybody wish this guy would come back?

WWE were under great pressure after the angle he did with Taker on the last SmackDown before the Great American Bash 2005, so they dropped the character. He has since quit wrestling I think

I personally would like him back.

WWE went way over the top with his character with all the terrorist deal in a time when the world was in the fear of just that, terrorism.

i think everyone wants him back. he's one of the best heels i've seen in my life and i pictured him world champion from from the 1st couple of weeks. too bad the americans are too soft to handle "terrorism"...

I loved the guy, he wasn't an excellent wrestler or anything, but he had decent heat, and I personally felt that under the right circumstances he could've been a really big babyface later on.

He's a natural on the mic, and had the look and the physique to be credible. It's a waste that he left because of terrorism. I think WWE has to take part of the blame as well. Knowing damn well that terrorism is on everyone's mind during that period, they push the agenda and make everybody hate the "terrorist" wrestler.

I think he's doing real estate now.

You can't even blame terrorism, blame the soft UPN viewers. Hassan had great charisma, great physique, could have been great if his WWE career wasn't cut short due to complaints.

He was like the next Sgt. Slaughter but WWE didn't use him, they went too much with the terrorist angle and they freaking involved Islam a lot with that Angle. I'm happy that they ended this, it was a very crappy angle according to me. They couldn't insult any religion like that and involve terrorism or anything and make Hassan heel like that.

Muhammad Hassan had excellent microphone skills and they could have just let the terrorism angle down a little bit. But, they didn't; and on a WWE show in New york city a fan pulled a gun on Muhammad Hassan which led to WWE quitting that angle and firing Hassan.

Come on, the guy wasn't that great. You could throw ANY middle eastern guy with a half way decent look to fill his role. He had a lot of cheap heat too. Back then no one thought he was anything special.

For my money ill take Santino Marella. I'd say he better all around than Hassan.

i really like his character and his ability to wrestle. wwe ruined the character itself by sending four masked men out there to go and attack undertaker and then WWE fire muhammed hassan. i would've enjoyed to see how TNA would have used Muhammed hassan but its too late. i wish Muhammed would come back.

I kinda miss Hussan. I just ROFL at the fact he was trained by Nick Dinsmore formally known as Eugene.

I think that what we miss is not Mark Copani himself, but the angle and the character. And call it cheap heat, but Copani just knew how to be controversial, with all the praying and then spitting, to his terrorist entourage. Just to show how much people hated him and bough him as a heel, without being a great match, they popped like crazy during Taker vs Hassan at GAB
