ESPN said:
Bolton midfielder Fabrice Muamba is said to be in a 'stable' condition at the London Chest Hospital, according to reports on Saturday evening.

The player was transferred to the East London facility after collapsing on the pitch at White Hart Lane, just before half-time in his team's FA Cup tie with Tottenham.

After being tended to on the pitch Muamba was stretchered off, with reporters on the scene stating that CPR had been performed on the 23-year-old.

Sky Sports News reported on Saturday evening that the hospital had described Muamba's condition as stable, but details with regards to the reason for his collapse have still not been released.

Bolton released their own statement on Saturday evening which simply read: "Bolton Wanderers can confirm that Fabrice Muamba has been taken to hospital following his collapse at White Hart Lane this evening during the FA Cup quarter-final. There is no further information at this stage."

Tottenham also released a short statement which read: "Tottenham Hotspur can confirm that Fabrice Muamba has been taken to hospital following his collapse on the pitch during the match at White Hart Lane this evening. The match was immediately abandoned. Everyone at the club sends their best wishes to Fabrice and his family."
This is absolutely fantastic news. I honestly thought that if worst came to worst than he could have passed away but thankfully not :D Hang in their Muamba!

ESPN and Sky Sports claim the Hospital say he is in a stable condition. So I'm gonna stick with them.

Just checked Sky Sports and.....

Bolton have announced that Fabrice Muamba is 'in a critically ill condition in intensive care' after collapsing at White Hart Lane on Saturday.

The 23-year-old collapsed to the turf during the Trotters' FA Cup quarter-final contest with Tottenham.

Medical staff spent 10 minutes tending to Muamba on the field as they attempted to resuscitate him.

He was stretchered off and rushed to hospital, with the game abandoned after 41 minutes.

Muamba, a former England U21 international, was taken to the London Chest Hospital in Bethnal Green - just nine miles from White Hart Lane.
Players, coaching staff, match officials and supporters were visibly shaken by the events, with concern expressed from all corners of the sporting community.

Bolton have confirmed that Muamba suffered a heart attack on the field of play and is currently being cared for by specialists.

"Bolton Wanderers can confirm that Fabrice Muamba has been admitted to the heart attack centre at London Chest hospital where he is currently in a critically ill condition in intensive care," read a statement on the club's official website.

"No further information will be issued at this stage. The club has requested the media to respect his family's privacy at this time."

I wish he was stable, but I'm afraid that isn't the case.
