- As seen on last night’s Impact Wrestling episode, it appeared they wrote Mr. Anderson off TV after a beatdown from Bully Ray. Anderson’s contract reportedly expires this month so he may be gone from the company. TNA posted this update on Anderson:

“On Thursday at the “No Surrender” IMPACT special, Aces and Eights President Bully Ray successfully defended the World Heavyweight Championship against Mr. Anderson in a violent and chaotic bout. Anderson refused to give up – and took a major beating from Bully Ray. Bully Ray battered and bloodied Anderson, eventually putting him through a table and winning the bout via countout. Bully Ray continued the assault after the match, dumping Anderson off a medical stretcher on the entrance ramp and annihilating him with a piledriver on the steel structure.

ImpactWrestling.com has learned that in addition to several lacerations to his head and body, Anderson suffered a possible concussion and was being examined for damage to his neck from the piledriver. Anderson will be evaluated tonight by doctors at a local St. Louis hospital, and we hope to have an update on his condition on Friday.”

First of all, that was an absolutely great LMS match he and Bully Ray had. Never expected from Anderson to be the first guy to wrestle a TNA MOTYC in 2013.

Second, the exclamation point after the match was done great.

And final, everyone who knows the contract situation with him and saw the match aftermath, knows this is only logical possibility.

If Anderson did in fact leave, he left with a bang after an awesome match.

That match was great, I haven't enjoyed a lot of TNA's product in recent months but this is a turning point for me, If this was to write him off it was done very well.

If this is how they write him off, id be bitter. Honestly i believe that is kayfabe news, after the piledriver part. I expect to see him return to a huge pop from a crowd after Bully loses at BFG to AJ.

If this is how they write him off, what a way to do it. He went from "don't see why they're wasting money on this guy" Hemme-type stuff to "one of the most entertaining characters on the show" within 2 weeks. Will definitely miss him, hope he resigns soon.

If he doesn't, this boost in Anderson's star power is pretty damn dumb. WWE may be thinking they have a pre-made storyline ready for him (with Orton being the one who got him fired) and TNA already did the hard part of building him up... but backstage politics will probably keep that from happening. COME BACK ANDERSON!

It was a great moment, him getting up from the chain and never quitting until Bully just broke him through the table. Pretty good stuff. Also hope to see him back soon, but I understand why they had to let the guy go.

According to PWInsider, Mr. Anderson's contract was set to expire within the next month. His match and post-match angle could have been his write-off from the product. Unless Anderson and TNA come to terms on a new deal (mostly financial), then this could very well be the last time we see Anderson in TNA.

Basically, the same update but what's new is that Anderson and TNA will be negotiating over the period of next 20-30 days over a new contract.

Well if he had to prove he would bleed for the company, i think that match did it. Also, how over was he for that crowd? It was crazy.

I have a feeling we'll be seeing Anderson again in a wrestling ring pretty soon. As always with wrestling news, it's a fine line between reality and kayfabe.

If he leaves TNA, he'll probably end up back in WWE (the storyline possibilities are endless). But I don't think he'll leave TNA in the end.

Of course, I could be wrong.
