Some faces were so thoroughly "good" that there characters could sometimes get under your skin. I never liked a guy who was pure and true blue and who little kids idolized. Even as a little kid I liked heels and tweeners. I couldn't stand any of the following guys

Bob Backlund
Bruno Sammartino
Jimmy Snuka
Tito Santana
Tatanka

Watching some old WWWF matches, Bob Backlund & Bruno Sammartino piss me off. I can't stand them. As good the wrestlers as they are, they needed gimmicks back then. Oh well, thank God for "Superstar" Billy Graham!

RICKY STEAMBOAT wrestled for different promotions all over the world for over twenty years and never once turned heel.

Ricky Steamboat, hands down.

I can't recall his character ever cheating or hitting women.

Hands down Ricky Steamboat and Rey Mysterio, I can't remember Mysterio turning heel, except once, maybe twice in his 15 year career.

I'm not dumb. I know that. But still, when he was face, he was under-your-skin annoyingly good boy. I mean, come on, he wagged his finger when he hulked up. How childish is that shit?
