Is anyone here a huge fan of Mortal Kombat? Or am I the only one? The games have such a rich history, it's almost impossible not to like it. So much back-story behind every game that no one notices. With Season 2 of Mortal Kombat Legacy coming out today. Mortal Kombat 10 announcement should happen by the end of spring of 2014. Mortal Kombat movie also in development.....I couldn't help to make this thread. We could talk about the games and shit. And questions we have with the story. Just......I love Mortal Kombat. You can post about anything Mortal Kombat here. Favorite character? Favorite stage? Favorite cosplay? ANYTHING CAUSE I AM FUCKING BORED!

I used to be a huge fan of Mortal Kombat growing up. It was one of the main staples of my childhood.

I loved Mortal Kombat 2 the best. The darker mood it had in contrast to the original really reeled me in back in the day, not to mention the awesomeness of Shao Kahn as a villain. I felt the series lost most of it's magic after MK4 and pretty much lost all its magic after Deadly Alliance.

My favorite fatalities were both from MK2 - Jax pulling his opponent's arms off (leaving him/her just standing there with stumps spitting out blood) and Johnny Cage ripping his opponent's torso off and aggressively slamming it to the ground.

Here's every fatality in existence from every MK game 1-9:

I enjoyed every Mortal Kombat. Armageddon was cool to play with friends. Story kinda didn't make sense. The newest MK brought back all of my happy memories.
