Morison turning Heel and more.

- While several sources are reporting that Joey Mercury has already signed a WWE contract to return, many people had no idea about him coming back backstage at the Royal Rumble pay-per-view.

- WWE is planning on promoting WrestleMania weekend in Phoenix this year so hard that hopefully fans won’t have any interest in attending the other wrestling shows that weekend such as DGUSA and Ring of Honor. They’re also looking at keeping the WWE talents extra busy so they don’t have time to attend the shows either.

- There has been talk within WWE of turning John Morrison heel again.

Hopefully after the Chamber Morrison takes back the ic title and turn heel feuding with Christain. Any thoughts?

^Yes.
He's managed to get over with the younger audience and those who love flashy spots during his face run but I'm just not feeling it.
I'd love to see him win MITB this year and heel during/afterwards.

And there is a rumor of Morrison turning heel.


How does that in any way = MNM?

I am not sure about young superstars going for their first world title as a heel. I think a young face over throwing the monster heel was always the best way to establish a star as their first title reign. Happened with Cena, Batista and Punk. Except Edge I really don't remember a superstar winning their fist world title as a heel, but then again Edge wasn't really considered a young up and coming star back then.

OH OMG, how did I forget about Sheamus. With his reign so far this is a prime example of up and coming heel stars getting their first world title. It doesn't go over well, not at all in Sheamus' case thus far, maybe I will be wrong, I'll just have to see.

I don't see MNM returning until these two things happen; Melina heals, and the WWE 2010 Draft. In the Draft, Morrison could go heel along with Melina and Mercury. Morrison could cut his heel promo and change his name back to Johnny Nitro(If he didn't then it would be MMM).

In summery, that looks like a lot of stuff to go through in a couple months, so I don't see MNM returning anytime soon.

I personally don't wanna see Morrison turn heel. I don't particualy like him when he's a heel. Plus his moveset wouldn't work. He would have to tone it down a lot. I could see him as one but I don't think it would work but that is just my opinion.

He did all of the same stuff when he was heel that he does now.
And who said a heel can't have a flashy move set. He's a cocky, flamboyant, self absorbed asshole when he's a heel, it fits perfectly.

You do realize that his whole career except for most of 2009 has been heel. He is a generic face. He INCREASED his moveset since turning face btw. Only thing we might see is him maybe doing the moonlight drive again

I don't think there is anything he's doing now that he didn't do as a heel.
He did the shooting star pres a few times.
He did starship pain...just didn't have a name for it yet.
