Reports came out from SuperLuchas on Monday that Randy Orton's WWE future was up in the air after meeting with Vince McMahon, Triple H and Kevin Dunn at WWE headquarters on Friday. The report stated that the meeting's atmosphere was "hostile" and it was determined a further decision concerning Orton awaits. SuperLuchas says that several WWE officials were lobbying for Orton's termination as a cost-cutting measure.

PWInsider now reports that WWE officials indeed met with Orton over the weekend and there is definitely talk about not bringing him back as soon as his suspension is over. Their report doesn't mention Orton being terminated but the idea would be to make Orton "sit it out and stew" once the suspension is over.

That sucks for randy. I hope they will bring him back with a new and improved gimmick. He's still got a lot to offer to the WWE

Looks like TNA might have themselves a new wrestler. TNA would probably have him be the one to finally beat Bobby Roode for the belt or something, knowing their logic.

They basically gave up on him. He will die in the mid-card with EVEN less chance to ever be in a big feud again or hold a title. Randy basically fucked it up for himself.

This is utter bullshit lmao.

Don't listen to this crap folks. The day after his suspension he'll be RKO'ing Ziggler or something.

But either way meeting or not there's still tension whether or not to build on Randy Orton again as he has to have one suspension and he's out. So they can't invest too much in him only to face him getting suspended again.

They aren't dumb enough to let go one of the 4 people they've actually tried to build up into a credible star, are they?

SuperLuchas.net is reporting Randy Orton met with top WWE officials at the company headquarters on Friday regarding his recent suspension.

The meeting reportedly featured Vince McMahon, Triple H and Kevin Dunn.

The report says it was a "hostile" meeting and a further decision of Orton's future is yet to be determined. Several WWE officials are lobbying for Orton to be released because the lucrative contract with WWE, which has him signed until 2019, can't be justified. The feeling is if he is to return to the WWE roster he will likely be in the mid-card yet WWE will still be paying him his high dollar contract.

If Orton gets suspended one more time he gets fired, the belief is this is going to prevent WWE from wanting to put a lot of investment into him in big main event programs.

Vince McMahon is reportedly especially infuriated with Orton over the suspension. The feeling was he had matured over the years and this recent suspension was a big disappointment to those top company officials.
