- TNA Knockout Rosita will be featured tonight on NBC’s Children of 9/11 special at 10pm EST. Rosita’s father died in the 9/11 attacks when she was just 10 years old. The NBC special will show highlights of her tryout match with TNA that never aired on TV.
- As expected, there is major heat within TNA on World Heavyweight Champion Kurt Angle for his DUI arrest over the weekend in Virginia. Since the incident, Angle hasn’t wrote anything on Twitter except that he was headed to the premiere of “Warrior” this morning.
Angle’s arrest on Sunday came after he was spotted swerving between lanes by another driver on 1-66 East near Linden, Virginia. Virginia State Troopers responded to the call and arrested Angle, taking him to the Warren County Jail where he posted $2,000 bond and was released at 3:31am. Angle was driving a rental car at the time and it was towed to a local impound lot. This isn’t confirmed by law enforcement yet but Angle was reportedly also texting while driving and reportedly only blew a .06, just below the legal limit.
