My favourite tag team of all time. THEY ARE FUCKING AWESOME.

money-inc.jpg

Money Inc. consisted of IRS (one of my fav wrestlers ever) and Million Dollar Man Ted DiBiase (also one of my fav wrestlers ever, and, Jimmy Hart later left them to manage the Mega-Maniacs). They were a tag team for less than 2 years but what a fucking awesome tag team and what better guys to put together. The perfect gimmicks for a tag team (you know, back when the WWE gave a shit about tag teams).

They held the tag team championship 3 times. FUCK YEAH.

One of my fav matches was Money Inc. vs Legion of Doom at SummerSlam '92. I was a sad 8 year old in the end (Money Inc. lost the belts) but what a fucking awesome match. For some reason, I can't find it on youtube anymore.

Some matches (sorry about some of the quality):

This is sort of on a side note but I found it while getting the Money Inc. videos. I bet my dad on this match (can't fucking believe someone uploaded it) that if IRS won, I could rent a video game :D

I was a fan of Money Inc. but I've never in my life thought someone would say they're their favorite tag team of all time.

hahaha, a first for everything.

I liked both of them solo, it was only fitting when they came together, it would solidify them as my favorite. A lot of people pick the 'most obvious' tag teams as their favorites, but, I really like heels and gravitate towards giant assholes, I felt them and their gimmicks were some of the best heels and represented two of the most hated kinds of people in society lol

They should've smashed Beefcakes face at Mania 9 with the briefcase and maybe Hogan wouldn't have ruined Yokos big night.

I enjoyed Money Inc. as a team my only problem was the characters were probably too similar. Also its sad for Dibiase because as a singles guy he was really talented. Then again his career was winding down anyway so it probably worked out fine.

Money Inc. was hastily thrown together but they made it work. DiBiase's career was winding down and he had neck problems while IRS was a one dimensional gimmick which was going nowhere. This team gave both of them a new lease on life. They may be the only tag team to ever "main event" a wrestlemania. The only thing I didn't like is how they would always get themselves counted out to save their titles but that can be attributed more to lazy booking.
