MNM 7/19/10 Match 2: Tony Carmine vs. Alex C

*Tony Carmine is seen walking down the hallway pissed off. Melora Moltisanti is at his side. He is suddenly stopped by Carl Long who wants to ask him some questions. Impatient, Tony blows him off but Melora pulls his arm back and forces him to talk to Carl Long. Wearing an Ankh chain and some jean shorts, Tony turns to Carl Long with piercing eyes.*
Tony: Make it quick I have business to take care of.
CL: Well Tony first I was going to ask you if you were excited about it being your first match against Alex C this week? Alex C has been on a role...
Tony: Let me stop you right there. Do I look excited? YOU DAMN WRONG I'm not excited. I'm usually a nice guys but Vino is driving me up the freaking wall. I have been here for weeks and I am just now getting put in a match. You think he he's going to put me in Heatwave? NO! I looked up to this guy as a father and all he's done ever since I started dating Melora was screw me over. So the first time he puts me in a match, it's against Alex C. My best friend. We traveled the world together. We were on opposite sides of the ring but moreso on the same side of the ring. We ruled the international tag team divisions for 7 years. You think Vino understands that? Hell no. He got sick of me complaining so he threw me in a match withou regard.
CL: I'm sorry to hear that Tony. Now on the subject of Heatwave, can you let us know what Vino has in mind?
Tony: Happily. He...
Melora: He...rather not explain. Vino cleary said that he will let everyone know come Monday Mayhem what he plans to do with the Coalition/Hardcore Revolution situation.
Tony: You stay over there. You know Carl, Melora will tell you, I was a kid in the candy store when Vino signed me to IWF. I could honestly ask for nothing more. I couldn't have been more greatful. I will do anything for Vino. He became my father when my father, his best friend, died. He took me under his wing. He trained me to wrestle and he supported me when I was overseas making a name for myself all around the globe. I put the advancement of my career on hold to come here to the big leagues and make Tony Carmine a household name and this is how he repays me. Well you know what, I'm getting a little sick of being on the back burner.
CL: With that said, what is your strategy going into a match with Alex C?
Tony: MY strategy? I don't need one. I have been in the ring with Alex enough times that I know him inside and out as does he. I'm not worried about putting on a clinic against him because that's just what we do. But the fact of matter is that Vino knew the history of me and Alex C and he knew that we wanted to form our old tag team. Apparently, that was out if the question and that if I wanted to tag, I'd do it with a member of the Coalition. Well Alex C if you're listening, I want to say this: This match will not under any circumstance affect our friendship. We have been through too much in the past to let it go down the drain over the stupidity of our boss. Now when we step into this ring, we do so with respect for each other and ourselves. We put on a helluva match and we relieve the good days of celebrating afterwards. We see who the better man is this week and afterwards, we pick up where we left off and we align ourselves. You better bring your A game bro because mines is right here. Now Carl, I must go. I have to have a little talk with Mr. Moltisanti.
*Tony turns away and gets his anger back as he storms towards Vino's offoic with Melora following behind. He approches the door and bangs on it. The scene fades to black.*

Scene opens with Carl Long standing infront a wall with TV monitor on it,showing the IWF Logo. Carl Long starts talking :
Carl Long : Ladies and Gentleman,please welcome my guest at this time,the biggest rising star in IWF,hm.......Alex C!
Alex C shows,when Carl Long steps one step back.Alex notices that,but he just laughs and tap Carl on the back :
Alex C : Hey Carl,whats going on dude? Relax man,there is nothing to be afraid of...Actually,thats on of the reasons I asked for this interview.I wanned to address "the incident" from our last meeting.I mean,this is the only way to do that,mentioning that you were "rapidly leaving" every time you saw me backstage in last few weeks. It was nothing personal,I totally lost my mind in the second,and I couldn't control my actions. But I'm a good person and I'm going to say : I'm sorry for that. Cmon man,are you really mad,I said I'm sorry. Now its time for you to be the man ( Alex wants to shake Carls hand,and Carl accepts). Thats it man,are we cool?
Carl Long : Yeah man,everything is alright. I understand you,although you have those problems.....Khm...Problems we are not going to talk about today!
Alex C : You are a good guy Carl. Now lets start the business.
Carl Long : Sure. We can all agree that you had amazing start here in IWF. Its true you just started,but you are currently undefeated! What are your plans for near future?
Alex C : Thats right,my IWF carrier started the best way it could. Even I had totally deferent opponent than I was expecting,I did my best and I defeated Cahan Malone. It all looked great for me,I was so excited,happy and positive about next week,until I checked out the MNM Card.
Carl Long : Thats exactly what I wanned to ask you next - On Monday Night Mayhem you will facing your,maybe best friend " Sunshine" Tony Carmine. How are you feeling about that?
Alex C : First of all,I have no idea why Vino booked us like this,he knows very well about our past,and he also knows we planned on reforming as a tag team. I tried to talk to Vino about this few times,but every time he made to avoid it. I tried to fix the situation,but it looks the match is staying.
Carl Long : So,what are you going to do? I talked with Tony couple days ago,and he feels the same way as you do.But he is ready to put his A game against you,and try to win. Are you going to do the same,or are you,maybe,going to hand over the match to Tony?
Alex C : I'm I going to just give up?!?! Carl Long,what the hell are you talking about?! Of course not! Like always,I'm going to give my best against Tony on Monday! By the way,I saw you interview with Tony,and I have to agree with him : Thats going to be hell of a match,I'm sure its going to become IWF Classic. You see Carl,I know how Tony is thinking in the ring,I know whats going to be his next move.And he knows me to. I can make a counter for every of his moves....But so can he. I've been through many tough,hard,exhausting matches in my carrier. And I know,I know Carl,this is going to be one of my toughest bouts! Also,I heard when Tony said this match is not going to endanger our friendship,and I cant describe to you how much I'm glad to hear that. But I hope hes going to stick with that after the match is over. You see,Tony got lucky because his debut show is on TV and not in dark match.But he isn't lucky because he's facing me in his debut match.During that match,when we step on the opposite side of that ring,friendship is thrown in another plan,my brother. I started climbing a ladder to becoming champion,and if I need to cross you Tony to get there,so be it. I'm sorry you are going to lose your debut match,but I am leaving MNM,still undefeated! So Tony....Good luck man. You are surely going to need it.
Alex walks of the set,with camera zooming on Carl Long for a few seconds,and then everything goes to black.
