[[ Scene opens up in the backstage area of the arena. Various staff members and stage screw are busy with their day to day assignments. Suddenly a loud sound is heard from down a hallway, followed by a trash can being thrown out from the hallway. All the workers stop, and look towards the hallway. From out of the hallway walks AJ Cash. ]]

AJ Cash: Where in the hell are Dannon and the fat guy Vino?!

[[ No one says a thing as obviously no one wants to mess with him. ]]

AJ: Am I talking to myself here? Dannon…Vino…Where are they?!

[[ Once again, no one speaks up. AJ is furious as he looks around then quickly grabs a stage crew worker and shoves him against the wall. ]]

AJ: You work here! Are you telling me you don’t know where your boss is?!

Worker: …uh….sorry….i’ve never even spoke to vino…

[[ AJ tosses guy to the side and walks off. He walks around a corner and bumps into backstage interviewer, Hayley Davis. ]]

Hayley: Hi Mr. Cash.

AJ: Do you know where Vino and his sock puppet, Dannon?

Hayley: They are actually not here. I went looking for them..

AJ: They are not here?! They want to attack me after a match, and then not show their face around here anymore? That’s called being scared. When will they be back?

Hayley: I’m sure they’ll be back by Monday for Mayhem.

AJ: I’ll be waiting right at the door Monday for those two to even think about coming in.

Hayley: Well, don’t forget about your match with Joseph Harrington.

AJ: Joseph who?!

Hayley: Harrington, he’s your opponent Monday.

AJ: Who in the blue hell is this guy?

Hayley: Well, he’s your opponent and it’s a qualifying match for the Intercontinental Championship.

AJ: Intercontinental Championship? Do I look like a mid-card champ? I’m a multiple time World Champion.

Hayley: So are you saying you don’t want a shot at the Intercontinental Championship?

AJ: Sure, if they want to give me the belt, no problem. I’ll just throw it in the case with all the other titles I have.

Hayley: But you’ll have to defend the title sometime.

AJ: Defend it? You think anyone would actually want to try to challenge me?

Hayley: I’m sure Joseph Harrington will this Monday.

AJ: This Joseph Harrington guy can go back to wherever he came from, he sounds like some British tea drinking idiot. If he really wants to step in the ring with me, then be it. I don’t care who he is or anything else about him a matter of fact. When I get to Mayhem on Monday, I’ll be on a mission. Vino and his little shadow better stay out of sight. After I take care of business with them, and if I have some time left then I’ll take care of Harrington as well. If the Intercontinental Championship gets thrown my way as I take care of business then I’ll just become a double champion as the World Title will be mine, and very soon.

[[ AJ walks off before Hayley Davis can ask another question, as the scene fades away. ]]

A camera turns on and in its view is Joseph Harrington, the Prospect, who’s walking down the sidewalk. Joseph is sporting blue jeans, a gray t-shirt with a dark gray design on the top. He seems to be wearing glasses, but its hard to see because the camera is behind him to the right and Harrington looked back a little to see if the camera is following him.

Joseph Harrington:
Hey… Come on.

The camera starts shaking back and forth as the man, who seems to be an amateur at handling cameras. They walk down and Harrington stops. The camera walks up to him and goes around his right to get a side view, showing his glasses.

Joseph Harrington:
Where is the building? Do you see it?

Camera Man:
No…

Harrington is seen looking around as he takes his glasses off. He squints his eyes as the sunlight shines on his face. He lip speaks there to himself as he puts his glasses on slowly and than proceeds to go across the streets. The camera follows behind him. Harrington walks infront of what seems to be the Joe Louis Arena in Detroit and stops as he takes a slip of paper out and reads it. He folds up the slip of paper and walks around the back.

Joseph Harrington:
This is the place.

Harrington walks up to a door and opens it. The camera man is following swiftly behind as Harrington walks down a narrow hallway. Harrington’s voice is distant as he is a distance from the camera.

Joseph Harrington:
Never been here. This should be fun.

Harrington walks to the front door of the stadium as the camera shows a group of people outside. They’re facing the stadium as a man is in their view with a microphone. it’s a little rally type deal as Harrington looks down at the slip of paper he has.

Joseph Harrington:
So I’m up after Aaron Williams…

Harrington turns to an employee and talks to him.

Joseph Harrington:
Has Aaron Williams already go?

Worker:
Uhh yeah, they’re waiting on you.

Harrington nods as he walks over to the front door and knocks on it. The man with the microphone turns around and sees Harrington there as Harrington slightly opens the door so the camera could hear the introduction.

Man:
And here is the man who will face AJ Cash at Mayhem in what will be an amazing match. Ladies and Gentlemen, I give you the Prospect… Joseph Harrington!

The crowd explodes as Harrington exit’s the building and shakes the hand of the man with the microphone, before promptly taking the microphone. The camera man keeps the door open so he can hear Harrington.

Joseph Harrington:
What is up DETROIT!!!

The crowd cheers as Harrington starts to smile.

Joseph Harrington:
It seems to me that our controversially fat owner…

The crowd interrupts Harrington with a collective unfeely ooo.. Harrington looks at the crowd confused.

Joseph Harrington:
Hey one of us had to point it out, and his new “Talent†who seems to be really good at what he does… Giving head…

The crowd does the same as they feel Harrington is digging himself a hole.

Joseph Harrington:
They give this nobody a title opportunity against me simply because he helped Vino’s little sex toy out in a match. I don’t care if he got jumped afterwards, he was rewarded for that match which shows who Vito favors.

The crowd can’t believe it as they are still in their voices.

Joseph Harrington:
I was bred to be the best by IWF icons. I’m sure you all heard of and probably love the team known as The Anderson Evolution. I’m the product of that group. They trained me to be the best and never expect things to come to you. They taught me to take things for yourself and take them the right way. So when I see a man who’s ego is so huge that he backed out of a dark match, begged the Owner to make him a match on the main card, than after not even getting the winning pin, he still is rewarded with a chance to compete for the Intercontinental title against Rexx Steele. That’s disrespectful to everything I’m for and I won’t let this slide.

Harrington stops as he looks down, smiles, and shakes his head in disgust.

Joseph Harrington:
I’ve seen the way Vino does business… Its to bad nothing good will come out of it. Vino your way never works and you will see soon enough why I’m the Prospect of the IWF!

Harrington drops the microphone and turns to the building as the crowd starts a Prospect chant. All of a sudden something zooms out to reveal that this was shown on a wide screen tv. The scene zooms out to see that the whole stunt by Harrington was played on a television in a room that has Joseph Harrington sitting on a chair… Across from him is Carl Long. Long takes a deep sigh and begins to talk.

Carl Long:
Joseph Harrington. As you know this video was recorded earlier this evening. I have to ask you… Was it smart to bad mouth the Owner of this company and his handpicked talent and do you regret it?

Harrington leans over and takes a deep breath.

Joseph Harrington:
Mr. Long, I don't regret any word. Like I said in that video. I was bred to accept the fact that the only true way to make it in this company is by taking what you need the right way and with pride. So when I see this man, this egotistical new guy, AJ Cash, utterly disrespect the system of IWF and is rewarded with a title shot, it makes me sick. Vino has shown his true colors, which are merely just do whatever he wants and abuse his power. Cash didn’t follow the system. Compete in matches, win matches. He competed in a handicap match, a match were he didn’t even get the winning pin and he gets rewarded. I COMPETED IN MATCHES! I COMPETED AGAINST SOME OF THE TOP WRESTLERS HERE. O’Haire and Matthews. I took Matthews to his limit and I ended O’Haire’s reign of tyranny here. AJ Cash! You are going to be nothing but a footnote in the era of the Prospect!

Carl Long sits back on his chair as Harrington stops and takes a deep breath. He tries to calm himself down as Long talks.

Carl Long:
With that being said. I must ask you about your confrontation in the IWF locker room.

Harrington interrupts Long.

Joseph Harrington:
Its very simple what happened there. People want to talk without backing up stuff. Including our Owner. I simply pointed out that talking does nothing. Its your actions that does something. Which you will see come Mayhem. I’ll start with ridding Cash of the IWF. And I will eventually come for you Vino and Dannon. The Prospect is I…W…F!

Harrington gets up and leaves as the screen fades to darkness.
