It is a dark night on the quiet streets of Tampa Bay. It is not clear what time it is, but it is almost pitch black. If it wasn’t for the one street light on this fateful road, you wouldn’t see anything. The camera is fixed on a sidewalk as nothing happens for a few seconds. Some pages of newspapers fly across the camera’s view from the wind, and just as the fouth one passes, a dark figure is seen in the distance. This figure is walking towards the camera. After a short amount of time the figure walks under the street light to show that its “The Prospect†Joseph Harrington. He walks all the way in front of the camera. The camera shows Harrington wearing dark blue jeans, a tapout, MMA shirt, and a leather jacket. In the front pocket of the jacket is Harrington’s sun glasses. Harrington speaks.
Joseph Harrington:
This world is filled with evil. Through gangs, guns, drugs, and tyranny, this world is plagued with evil. I joined this great wrestling company known as the IWF, and it’s the same there. Gangs, drugs, guns, and tyranny. My opponent in the next Monday Night Mayhem is no exception. I was born for success and bred for perfection. I trained every single day, day in and day out to be where I am now. Last week, the great fans saw me take a known IWF wrestler, who has had some success in the company to his limit… Now that I’ve worked out all the kinks, I feel that its time for the prospect to shine.
Harrington puts his glasses on, as the sun is beginning to rise, Harrington continues to talk.
Joseph Harrington:
My opponent on Monday is The Prophet, Jeremiah O’Haire, a preacher who has tried to justified his misinterrpetation of the bible as the reason to attack those who do not share the same believes. He’s a preacher that believes that his way is the right way and everyone elses’ is nothing but a waste of their time. He works in the black market of the IWF and just like many other wrestlers, he must be stopped.
Harrington puts his fingers threw his hair as he continues.
Joseph Harrington:
My mentor is a former IWF tag team champion. He taught me that you don’t create your history by what you do the things you do in that ring, but by why you do the things you do in that ring. My reason is pure and should be accepted by that. Come next monday I will defeat O’Haire and all roads lead to the top were I can forever rid this company of the unruly people. The Prospect is I…W…F…
Harrington walks forward and out of the camera’s view as it fades to black.
