MJ's Vent - Abyss

This is my clolumn that I will be writing about TNA superstars where I'll disect everything about them there goods and there bads. I'll be starting on Abyss one TNA superstart that I dislike.

Abyss

To start off with I hate Abyss's gimmick. I hate anything supernatural in wrestling now I know that's not Abyss's gimmick but thats what it reminds me of. And if you really think about it does he have a gimmick except being a masked freak. And sometimes he acts like Eugene would act if you put a mask on him. He doesn't look like he has any ring presence when he is in the ring and then he just improvises by going crazy with fists on his opponent. Although Abyss is one of the most hardworking wrestlers in TNA and he takes alot in every single one of his matches. His body has been destroyed physically and I'm not surprised mentally he has been cut stabbed and slammed into 1,000 thumbtacks. I'm surprised he hasn't suffered any life threatening injuries yet. But Abyss isn't that great as people talk about him I've heard that he is the greatest big man in wrestling and I'm apalled when I heard this how can anyone compare Abyss to the likes of Andre the Giant, Big Show, Kane and The Undertaker. It is disrepectful to all of the wrestlers forementioned. Abyss does desereve the NWA Championship he won but I think TNA should focus more on using Abyss to put over younger superstars than giving him a push himself which he has been doing but it also seems that he is always taking time off for "Injuries". I've worked with Abyss and he was the worst wrestler I've ever worked with he left my back sore for weeks and it was a horrible experience in pretty much my first real match I had to direct Abyss around the ring and he ended up injuring me so thats partially another reason why I don't like him but this has been my first vent an look for my next one next week.

Damn dude i didnt nkow you wrestled. I wrestled for a bit i foguht steve corino and mr aries. I no longer do it now iam wise enough not to. Abyss is a good worker but like you said hes not a kane or taker. I think given the right push and removing the mask willbe a good step forward for abyss. I loved the read man a nice change.

Hmm quite true, but for Abyss it's a one-way track and he can't possibly take any other route considering how the wrestler looks and I can't see him being unmasked. He can take bumps and is a decent wrestler, but I feel he needs to improve his in ring pschology and actually started acted more like a monster.

Well here is the thing. When they call Abyss "the best big man in the business" . They have a point because you talked about Andre, Big Show, Kane, Undertaker! Well Andre has been DEAD for the last ten years or more. And Big Show is retired, So there not in the Business!:music_serenade:

And you're saying he's better than Kane and the undertaker? And Batista and Henry? I hate Batista and Henry, but by comparing them to Abyss, I actually think they're better.

Well Abyss is a good wrestler, especially with his ability to take hardcore blows that unwell trained guys can't. But when he had the match with Sting at Genesis and won, I was pissed about him being a chamion. That's like Undertaker being a champion. It's not good. Plus, Sting should've taken on Jeff Jarrett and Kurt Angle at Genesis! :rofl:

Actually I think a snail is better than Mark Henry and Batista sorry I think those two suck. Now as far as the Undertaker and Kane go yeah there better. But there getting pretty old while Abyss is still young. Abyss is the future I am surprised VINCE has not offered him a job since it is no secret that VINCE loves the big guys!eace:
