Mirko CroCop Finishes Career With Victory Over Ray Sefo

Legendary fighter Mirko "CroCop" Filipovic put the finishing touches on his fighting career in his native country of Croatia over the weekend. Filipovic earned a decision victory over Ray Sefo in a battle of former

K-1 fighters in the main event of Final Fight.
Filipovic was making his first appearance in Croatia in over a decade. He retired from MMA following three consecutive knockout defeats, but signed up for the Sefo fight as a way to end his career on the right note.


"CroCop's" kickboxing record stands at 17-7, while his MMA mark is 27-10-2. His last three MMA losses were to Frank Mir, Roy Nelson and Brendan Schaub.

Good to see him finish with a win in his home country. Real shame that his UFC career never worked out, I kept waiting for that highkick but it never came.

heh you too I was hoping he was gonna end it with that high kick and send that guy crashing to the ground. Woulda been a kodak finish to his career. But hey at least he won.

The company that he was fighting for should have fed him a can so that everyone could see that kick one last time. Who cares if he finishes with an easy fight he has had enough tough ones throughout his career.
