Strikeforce fighters Mike Kyle and Valentijn Overeem have been added to Championship Fighting Alliance's (CFA) next card.
Since 2006, Kyle had been a part of Strikeforce up until their final show. He was 1-2-1 NC in that final run with losses to Antonio "Big Foot" Silva and Gegard Mousasi. Rafael Cavalcante had also finished him, before the bout was overturned to a no contest due to banned substances in Cavalcante's system.
Overeem went 1-1 for Strikeforce. Last year, he was 1-2 with two late round one defeats to Michal Kita and Evgeniy Erokhin.
CFA 11 is May 24 from the BankUnited Center in Coral Gables, FL. The promotion is seeking to air the show live on AXS TV. The semifinals of a women's featherweight tournament are also set for the card.
