Miesha Tate: "I would straight up kill Caraway if he hit a woman"

Bryan Caraway has certainly been a centre of controversy over the course of his UFC's career. Just last year after making allegations against marijuana, he was verbally attacked by Nate Diaz who called him a "fag" over twitter, and most recently he came under fire for fish hooking controversy that happened in his last fight over Erik Perez.

Most recently though, rumors had been circling around from Cat Zigano's corner that Caraway had intentionally elbowed Zigano in the back of the head following her stare down with Miesha Tate when the ladies faced off at the Ultimate Fighter 17 finale last April. However, one person that doesn't buy into is Caraway's girlfriend Miesha Tate who took some time to address the issue.

I don’t believe it happened at all. But if it did, it was someone else. At the very, very worst, maybe he bumped her as he walked by. But it was not intentional. He didn’t just go ‘Bam!’ I mean, c’mon. What we have to gain by that, except being called a woman beater? Obviously, I would never be with someone who’s a woman beater. I’m a pretty fucking strong-headed woman and there’s no way. I would kill him in his sleep if he ever thought of it. I would straight up kill him. People saying that blows my mind. I feel like she just jumped on that train. As an adult if that would have happened, I would have said something right then and there.

Tate is recently coming off from her first win in the UFC over Liz Carmouche after falling to Zigano in a number one contender's match, then replacing an injured Zigano to face Ronda Rousey in a match for the UFC Women's Bantamweight Championship. Where as Caraway is coming off back to back submission wins over Johny Bedford and Erik Perez.
