According to a article on Bleacher Report as well as a post on Foley's own blog the possible feud between him and FCW talent Dean Ambrose might be canceled because of Ambrose pulling Mick's family into the feud and because Foley feels he is unable to trust Ambrose to handle the feud professionally since Foley claims to have asked Ambrose to back down from bringing his children into the feud. Something Ambrose if you follow both his and Foley's twitter account apparently hasn't. Foley has the following to say.

Sports-entertainment has to involve a certain ammount of respect and trust. It's pretty obvious Dean Ambrose doesn't have any respect for me, my requests, or what I have done in the wrestling business. Therefore I can't place the slightest ammount of trust in him. Has anyone wondered if I'm feeling better following the concussion I spoke of in that December 2010 TNA Impact promo with Flair? I'm not feeling too much better. I tend to have two types of days when it comes to that muted, under-water feeling I spoke of in that promo - bad and worse. I'm just not the same guy who took 11 chair shots from the Rock in 1999. I haven't been that guy in a long time. Given my history of concussions, I would have to be a fool to place my future in the hands of someone I don't trust. Perhaps I do have another decent match left in me. If so, it will be with a guy like Dolph Ziggler, who might well be the best worker in the business, and just needs that ONE little something to allow the WWE Universe to see how talented he really is. Or a guy like the Miz - one of the best heels of this generation. Say what you want to about Miz, but the guy is damn good at what he does.

To bad since the Foley v Ambrose feud looked on paper as something amazing but Mick has after all these years earned the right to choose who he has his final feud with and if he feels that Ambrose doesn't deserve it after the shoots his done on him. Then that's that sadly.
More can be read on the story here at Bleach Report and here at Foley's own blog.

If true fair play as Foley is a legend and as he says if he can't trust him to do what's right then it's not worth if for his health and family.

Exactly. Foley shouldn't wrestle anymore anyways. Every time he is in there now it pains me to watch him. He used to be able to move!

Same with flair. Make it stop.

Seems like he's working it to me, Crayo posted a thread saying they'd incorporate Foley's blog.

I agree but recently he has started to look a lot better and bearing in mind this is Foley the guy takes punishment for a living, I do feel he has one more match in him to put someone over. He wouldn't if he couldn't guy lives for the fans and the pain.

First of all I think that still might be a work, uncertain though.

Secondly, part of me would prefer that he fued with Ziggler because IMO Ziggler needs it more. Ambrose still has the chance to make an impact but Ziggler is being buried at the moment, and a fued with Foley may re-invogorate him.

See if it did end up being Ziggler I would mark out as I agree Ziggler needs that final push to stardom imo that may come when he drops Swagger!

Yep, far too talented to be with him at the moment. Vickie as well, he can generate his own noise.

Yeah maybe drop Vickie too it depends on his mic ability which I'm unsure of atm he may need that manager to help get early heat as his in ring antics get him loads! Defo needs Swagger gone though as it's now holding him back Swagger is a mid card atm whereas Dolph should be near ME and then ME!

I think this is bullshit. I still think it's a work, if this is true, then I've lost a bit of respect for Foley. It's wrestling, worse has been said. Just last week Bobby Roode brought up Storm's dead brothers and father...

This is a work I'm telling you, the only thing that shocked me is that he mentioned him & Ambrose working together, but I'm sure this is just to build more hype. Ambrose has to feud with Foley and Foley isn't the type to not "trust" someone because he took something further than he liked, no way.

But yeah, if this is true then I'll be pissed.

Fair point @[Crayo] but I think if it's true Foley is concerned that if he cant trust him to do whats asked out the ring then in ring he may not look after him in the correct manner which is why I would understand the move. As HHH had to help Taker at WM as did Taker to HHH so.....

How does Ambrose taking it further than Foley liked (which Ambrose didn't know, assuming this is true) mean Ambrose won't look after him in the ring? Ambrose is a top top ring worker. It just doesn't sound like Foley, a hardcore legend, a badass, friendly guy refusing to let Ambrose work with him - I just don't see that.

If it's true then I'll be so annoyed. Ambrose needs this more.

Because if they've spoke out the ring bout what the will and won't do and then he involves family it puts his trust in place as Foley says so then his in ring trust is also lost. Whats to stop Ambrose taking advantage and doing what he wants in ring? It's basic trust.

If u tell someone something in confidence and then they blab it do u then trust that person?

As you've mentioned Crayo it is likely to be a work. But if it isn't then it all differs from person to person. Storm might be okay with people bringing his dead father, brother and step brother into a story and Punk might be okay with working with that his father used to be a alcoholic. But the thing that has been brought up here is Foleys kids. Any parent I think would feel uncomfortable having people threaten their kids, work or not. It all depends on Foley as a person and possibly on Ambrose as a person. We do not know exactly how well Foley and Ambrose get along. Ambrose might legitimatily dislike Foley (though unlikely it is still a factor.)
