Michael Bisping was injured and is now off the 7/21 show in Calgary where he was to face Tim Boetch. Boetsch will now face Hector Lombard, who was to face Brian Stann on 8/4 before Stann was injured
Bisping's removal from the July 21 event sees the former Bellator Middleweight Champion stepping up and moving his UFC debut ahead two weeks to take on Tim Boetsch on the pay-per-view event.
Lombard hasn't lost a bout in 25 fights, dating back almost six years. Boetsch, meanwhile, is unbeaten since moving to the middleweight division, and enters this card off a come from behind knockout win over Yushin Okami.
Really? I call BS on Bisping. I think he's ducking Lombard :ARN:
Right after they announced Shogun vs. Vera as the mainevent for UFC on Fox 4, Lombard tweeted that he was calling Bisping out. Few hours later Bisping comes up with an injury. Hmmmmmmm.
