ONTARIO — Maximum Fighting Championship comes to Ontario, Canada, for the first time tonight with “MFC 29: Conquerâ€￾ at The Colosseum at Caesars Windsor.

MFC 29 features two title fights and will air LIVE on HDNet starting at 10 p.m. ET / 7 p.m. PT.

Andreas Spang vs. Ali Mokdad

Round 1 – Spang with a body kick, clinch. Mokdad gets the takedown, on top inside half guard where he lays down some shots. Mokdad takes Spang’s back as he turtles, they roll to their back. Mokdad with a body triangle. He locks in the choke, it’s under the neck and Spang taps out of the first televised MMA fight in Ontario, Canada.

Pete Spratt vs. Demi Deeds

Round 1 – Leg kick from Deeds. Body kick from Spratt. Right hand from Deeds and an inside thigh kick. Leg kick from Deeds ands Spratt lands a nice left hook. Spratt misses with a high kick. Deeds smacks Spratt in the face with a head kick. Body shot from Spratt. Clinch, Spratt backs out, right hand from Deeds. Clinch, Deeds changes levels looking for a single, lets it go, knee to the gut. Ref calls for work. Spratt backs out. Inside leg kick from Spratt. Body shot from Spratt, but gets tagged with a right. Deeds gets the takedown, Spratt gets up though and lands several big shots at the bell. ProMMAnow.com scores the round 10-9 for Spratt.
