There's a mixed reaction in Seoul to start the show, as Dreamer walks out onto the stage. It's difficult to tell if the cheers or boos have the edge, but Michelle pays the mixed reaction no mind as she strides down the ramp.

Katie-Lynn Goldsmith: "Ladies and gentlemen, your opening contest is an F1 Climaxxx Pool A match, scheduled for one-fall with a twenty minute time limit. Introducing first, from Rotterdam in the Netherlands, weigh in at fifty four kilograms… ‘Dreamer’... Michelle von Horrowitz!!"

Rod Sterling: "Welcome, one and all, to Meltdown XXXVIII! We’re going to cut straight to the chase here, tonight."

Anzu Kurosawa: "You mean about how everyone keeps jumping the shark every single promo around here?"

Rod Sterling: "No, I mean with some pulsating in-ring action! Here comes MvH, who was successful in her first match of this year's F1 Climaxxx tournament, triumphing over old rival Mike Parr two weeks ago in Hanoi."

Anzu Kurosawa: "Given the format of the tournament, one win is probably enough to qualify you for the knockout stages. Michelle will no doubt be targeting that #1 berth, though, given that it brings with it a bye for the wildcard round."

Rod Sterling: "The same can be said of her opponent, though, who also comes into week two on two points."

Michelle takes a seat in the corner of the ring, her head propped up against the second turnbuckle. Her eyes are fixed upon the stage as her music fades out, replaced by…

There's a loud cheer in the arena for the Mad Wizard, who walks out onto the stage accompanied by his faithful minion.

Katie-Lynn Goldsmith: "… and her opponent: accompanied to the ring by Epsilon, he weighs in tonight at two hundred and fifteen pounds… ‘the Mad Wizard’... Konchu Hao!!"

Rod Sterling: "As I mentioned, Konchu was also victorious in Hanoi, where he defeated Xperienx Xtacee in his debut tournament match. That makes this contest against Michelle von Horrowitz very interesting, with the winner in poll position to pick up that bye that you mentioned, Anzu…"

Anzu Kurosawa: "It does indeed, Rod, and you can throw the form book out of the window for this one, because Konchu and Michelle have never competed in singles competition, or indeed in tag bouts. In fact, the last time this paring shared the ring was all the way back in 2017 at CWA’s Wrestle Royale, with Konchu making a guest appearance in that battle royale."

Rod Sterling: "And a lot has changed since then. Although Michelle has never faced Hao, she is obviously very with his tag team partner Cyrus Truth. Only Epsilon is at ringside with the Mad Wizard, though."

Anzu Kurosawa: "Doesn't surprise me. The Exile has made it clear he doesn't want anything to do with Dreamer. He's probably staying well away. And, with the Nephews currently M.I.A., that means we'll hopefully get to see these two tie it up in a fair contest."

Rod Sterling: "Unlikely, given Dreamer’s track record."

Anzu Kurosawa: "Konchu is hardly an angel himself in that regard. All is fair if everyone's fighting dirty!"

After receiving some final (inaudible and incomprehensible) words of encouragement from Epsilon, Konchu climbs into the ring and occupies the opposite corner to MvH. She pulls herself up onto her feet when his music fades out. The official conducts his final checks and then, when content, calls for the opening bell.

Konchu Hao

<< 02:10. >>

After a hesitant and tentative opening, Konchu Hao wrenches Michelle’s arm up behind her back with a hammerlock. MvH reaches between her own legs, trying to grasp Konchu’s boot and trip him up, but the Mad Wizard kicks at her hand to block it whilst keeping his hammerlock applied. Von Horrowitz resorts to throwing an elbow at Konchu’s head, repeating the gesture twice more, before Konchu ducks beneath the fourth…

Rod Sterling: "T-bone suplex from Konchu Hao! Michelle von Horrowitz is thrown down, but to her credit - which I give only begrudgingly - Michelle is right back up to her feet…"

Anzu Kurosawa: "But she’s caught with a leaping lariat… and then an STO! Konchu is cooking here in the early exchanges, and he follows up by hooking the far leg."

ONE… TWO… NO!

Michelle kicks out, with Konchu immediately reapplying the hammer lock he had fastened on earlier, this time with his opponent grounded. Dreamer wants nothing to do with the hold, quickly scurrying to the ropes and hooking onto the bottom one. The official enforces a break, with Michelle rolling out onto the outside for a breather. Hao has no intention of affording her one, though, following her out of the ring… but the Mad Wizard is caught with a drop toe hold! Hao’s face is slammed onto the top of the adjacent steel ring steps! Michelle grasps Konchu by the scruff of the neck and throws him under the bottom rope, proceeding to climb up to the top turnbuckle as Konchu staggers up to his feet…

Anzu Kurosawa: "A missile shotgun dropkick from Michelle von Horrowitz! Konchu hits the mat, but Dreamer gives him no time to rest…"

Rod Sterling: "Michelle applies a front face lock and hooks both arms, maybe looking for her patented DDT… but Konchu rotates out of the hold and maintains wrist control…"

Anzu Kurosawa: "Ripcord… but MvH wrenches herself away before he can connect with the elbow smash!"

Rod Sterling: "Konchu looking for Rasputin’s Revenge early, but MvH wants nothing to do with it, and again she rolls beneath the bottom rope for some respite on the outside.”

Konchu doesn’t follow her this time, but he has a smirk for her as she looks up at him with her hands on her hips. She turns away from Hao and is startled by Epsilon, who is standing in front of her in as foreboding a manner as he can muster. MvH changes direction, walking away from the minion as the Mad Wizard cackles inside the ring.

***

<< 08:15. >>

Konchu has Michelle in a side headlock, but MvH rotates out of it and manages to apply a hammer lock on the Mad Wizard, returning the favour from earlier in the match. Dreamer stomps down hard on the back of Hao’s leg, causing the Mad Wizard to go down to one knee. Michelle relinquishes her hammerlock in favour of hitting the ropes…

Anzu Kurosawa: "Shining wizard! To the back of the head!!"

Rod Sterling: "Konchu slumps to the mat, and MvH goes for a cover…"

ONE… TWO… NO!

Konchu gets the shoulder up, but Michelle is quick to grasp his ankle, looking to turn the failed pin attempt into an ankle lock!

Anzu Kurosawa: "Michelle von Horrowitz looking for the submission – this is the same ankle lock that has put away numerous opponents for Dreamer in the past…"

Rod Sterling: "Konchu knows the danger, and he lashes out with a boot to the face…"

Michelle recoils, shakes away the cobwebs, and then approaches Hao. The Mad Wizard is back to his feet, though…

Rod Sterling: "SAVATE KICK!! Konchu Hao connects!"

Anzu Kurosawa: "And he isn’t done there – he hoists MvH up… BACKDROP DRIVER!!"

Rod Sterling: "Right on the top of her head!!"

Konchu goes for the lateral press…

ONE… TWO… TH – NO!!

Michelle gets a shoulder up! If there’s a flicker of frustration on Konchu’s face it’s hidden by his mask, and the Mad Wizard dutifully goes back to work…

***

<< 13:56. >>

After a collision in the centre of the ring, the two get to their feet slowly, the fans cheering them on as they enter the final phase of the match. They regain a vertical base at roughly the same time, with Michelle stumbling towards Konchu… and receiving a Mongolian chop from the wizard!

Michelle winces and recoils… but then fires back with an overhand chop of her own!

Konchu fires back with another Mongolian chop!

A knife edge chop from Dreamer!

Konchu seems to recoil slightly from the thudding blow, but then fires up and hits three consecutive Mongolian chops! He attempts a knife edge chop, bringing both hands across in the motion… but it’s ducked beneath by Michelle, who proceeds to fire back with three overhand chops! Staggering Konchu into the ropes. She takes him by the wrist, attempting to whip him across, but it’s reversed by the Mad Wizard.

Rod Sterling: "Michelle hits the ropes and Konchu goes for a savate kick… but it’s ducked beneath by Dreamer. Perhaps going to the same well once too often?"

Anzu Kurosawa: "Hao turns around and sees Michelle coming at him for a busaiku knee kick, but he’s able to sidestep it. Both of these competitors have the other seemingly well scouted."

Hao has collected Michelle in a rear waistlock, and he transitions to attempt a second backdrop driver, but Michelle over-rotates and lands on her feet behind him. The Mad Wizard turns around, seeing Dreamer coming at him for a discus forearm. Konchu ducks beneath it to evade, though, and he has wrist control.

Rod Sterling: "Konchu’s going for Rasputin’s Revenge again… there’s the ripcord… but Michelle takes him out with a dropkick to the knees! And then an enziguiri!"

Both competitors are down in the middle of the ring…

Katie-Lynn Goldsmith: "Ladies and gentlemen… this is your FOUR MINUTE WARNING!!"

The crowd cheer the pair in the ring, who once more climb to their feet. Michelle has another overhand chop for Konchu, who seems to absorb it… before thudding into Michelle with a vicious elbow smash!! Michelle is staggered, allowing Konchu to grasp her by the wrist and pull her close to him. It’s another ripcord, Hao once more going for his finisher…

… but it’s ducked beneath by Michelle! She evades the elbow strike, and connects with a mule kick to Konchu’s gut! The Mad Wizard is doubled over, allowing Michelle to apply a front facelock…

Anzu Kurosawa: "BRAINBUSTER!!!"

Rod Sterling: "But no cover attempt… Michelle is climbing quickly to the top rope!"

It’s mostly boos as Dreamer steadies herself atop the turnbuckles, the crowd clearly on the side of the Mad Wizard. This only brings a smirk from Michelle, who takes a deep breath before leaping off…

Anzu Kurosawa: "450 SPLASH!!!! She hits it!!"

Rod Sterling: "And Michelle hooks BOTH legs…"

ONE… TWO… THREE!!

Winner: Michelle von Horrowitz via pinfall at 17:01.

Michelle is slow to rise, first rolling off Konchu and then remaining on the mat as her music begins to play. Eventually, after the Mad Wizard has rolled out of the ring to be attended to by Epsilon, she rises to her feet, but a glare at the official stops him from trying to raise her hand in victory.

Katie-Lynn Goldsmith: "Here is your winner… ‘Dreamer’... Michelle… von… HORROWITZ!!"

Rod Sterling: "Another hardfought victory for Michelle von Horrowitz, who moves onto four points and clear of the chasing pack in Pool A. In fact, that victory means she has booked her place in the knockout stages. All three of the others can still catch her on four points, but no combinations of results would demote Michelle into fourth position."

Screenshot-2024-02-08-3-40-36-PM.png

Anzu Kurosawa: "And noteworthy, Rod, is that Michelle has overcome both her opponents thus far in the F1 all by herself, and within your beloved rulebook."

Rod Sterling: "You might find it noteworthy, Anzu. I find it suspicious."

Michelle von Horrowitz exits the ring and strides up the ramp, pleased with a job well done. We fade out from the arena.

BLENDERS FUCK YEAH

violet.png

There's a mixed reaction in the arena for ‘the Prodigy', who pays the fans no mind whatsoever as he walks down the ramp and towards the ring.

Katie-Lynn Goldsmith: "Ladies and gentlemen, the following contest is an F1 Climaxxx Pool A match, scheduled for one-fall with a twenty minute time limit. Introducing first, weighing in at two hundred and forty pounds… ‘the Prodigy’... Mike Parr!!"

Rod Sterling: "Here comes a competitor who knows the FWA North American Championship very well, having held that belt a record number of times and for a record number of days."

Anzu Kurosawa: "He has the chance to win it again at the end of the F1, and indeed during it in that special championship match in the run up to Fight Night, but things didn't get off o the best start two weeks ago in Hanoi."

Rod Sterling: "Indeed, the Prodigy was bested by Konchu Hao, but will be hoping he can turn things around here in Seoul."

Parr climbs into the ring and runs the ropes a few times to loosen up. His music fades out and is promptly replaced by…

There's a loud and positive reaction for Xperienx Xtacee, who appears on the stage flanked by his two associates, Monica and Antonio.

Katie-Lynn Goldsmith: "Making his way to the ring, side-by-side with his lovers Monica and Antonio, hailing from The Right Side of the Bed in Las Vegas, Nevada, and weighing in at a lean 180 pounds, Xperienx Xtacee!"

Anzu Kurosawa: "Michelle von Horrowitz’ victory earlier on tonight makes this outing do or die for Xperienx Xtacee: he must avoid defeat to not be mathematically eliminated from this year’s F1 Climaxxx."

Rod Sterling: "It was a difficult loss two weeks again in Hanoi against Konchu Hao, but a victory here in Seoul puts Xtacee right back into the hunt for a qualification berth. It’s still all to play for, Anzu."

Anzu Kurosawa: "For now, Rod."

Xperienx joins Parr in the ring, the two staring across it at one another as the official issues some final instructions. After Xtacee's music fades out, he falls for the bell.

SECOND MATCH || 1/20.
Xperienx Xtacee
vs. Mike Parr.
Singles Match - F1 Climaxxx Pool A.
Match writer: SS.
violet.png

<< 03:50. >>

The beginning of the match is a technical affair, with Parr generally coming out on top of the catch-as-catch-can exchanges. After one such interaction, Xtacee finds himself in a cravate, but manages to wrap his arms around Parr in a rear waist lock. XX attempts a belly-to-back suplex, but Parr over-rotates and lands on his feet behind him, before applying a rear waist lock of his own. He bundles Xtacee forwards into the ropes, rolling backwards with an O’Conner roll…

ONE… TWO… NO!

Both men are up to their feet quickly, with Parr backing Xtacee up into the ropes with repeated forearms.

Rod Sterling: "Mike Parr looking for an Irish whip across the ring, but it's reversed by Xperienx… ‘the Prodigy’ is able to duck beneath the clothesline attempt… but he isn't so lucky with the leg lariat!"

Anzu Kurosawa: "Xtacee takes Parr down for the first time in this match! He needs to get this one away from technical exchanges, this could be his opportunity to do just that…"

Parr is quickly up to his feet, but is caught again by a jumping hurricanrana from Xperienx! The Prodigy is slower to rise this time, with Xtacee able to climb up to the top rope…

Rod Sterling: "Diving blockbuster!! Big swing of momentum in Xtacee's direction, who now goes for the cover…"

ONE… TWO… NO!

Parr gets a shoulder up, and Xtacee slaps on a grounded side headlock…

***

<< 09:14. >>

Xtacee has Parr in a front face lock, looking to hoist him over with a suplex, but the Prodigy anchors his weight down before reversing with a small package!

ONE… TWO… NO!

Xtacee gets out of the pinning predicament, but is a moment slower to his feet than Parr, who connects with a trio of vicious forearm strikes… and then a rolling cutter!!

Anzu Kurosawa: "Xperienx Xtacee is down in the middle of the ring, but Mike Parr isn't going for a cover! That's usually the killer blow!"

Rod Sterling: "I think the Prodigy has other ideas… yes, he's climbing up to the top rope! Mike Parr maybe looking to send a message to the rest of the field…"

Parr climbs up onto the top turnbuckle, facing away from Xtacee, steadying himself atop it as the portion of the crowd on his side cheers him on. He takes a deep breath…

Rod Sterling: "X MARKS THE SPOT… BUT XTACEE ROLLS OUT OF THE WAY!!"

Anzu Kurosawa: "He should've pinned him, Rod!"

Xtacee rises, sucking in deeply as Parr gets up clutching his ribs. The Prodigy turns into a boot to the midsection, with Xtacee applying a straight jacket and nailing him with a DDT!

Anzu Kurosawa: "He calls that Foreplay, and that's usually a prelude to one thing…"

Xperienx gets Parr up to his feet, beginning to gather him for his Sensual Sensation finisher…

Rod Sterling: "But Mike Parr reverses with a desperation jawbreaker!! Xtacee is staggered…"

Anzu Kurosawa: "And the Prodigy follows up with a second rolling cutter!!! That's it!! Mike Parr hooks the leg!"

ONE… TWO… THREE!

Winner: Mike Parr via pinfall at 11:15.

The Prodigy climbs to his feet, allowing the official to raise his hand in victory.

Katie-Lynn Goldsmith: "Here is your winner… Mike Parr!!"

Rod Sterling: "That's exactly what Mike Parr needed, moving him onto two points in Pool A of the F1."

Screenshot-2024-02-08-3-40-51-PM.png

Anzu Kurosawa: "With only one match left for Xperienx Xtacee against MvH in four weeks time on Fight Night, he can only draw level with Konchu Hao or Mike Parr on two points - and both now have the head-to-head tie-breaker advantage on him."

Rod Sterling: "Which means Parr joins Konchu on two points, and von Horrowitz qualifies as Pool A’s winner. Either Parr or Konchu could join her on four points, but she has also secured the tie-breaker over each of them. The Prodigy and the Mad Wizard will face off in Tokyo, but they will decide only second and third spot, and who their opponents will be in Osaka’s wildcard round."

Xtacee is helped on the outside by Monica and Antonio, whilst Parr climbs to the second rope to celebrate his victory. He looks more relieved than anything as he looks down the camera lens as if he was staring at Bryan Baxter, his opponent in March’s special FWA North American Championship match-up. He hops down and climbs out of the ring as we fade to black.

Meltdown continues on and the arena lights die down as the big tron screen fires up with a video feed coming from what looks like some kind of interview room. In the center of the shot are two oversized, burgundy chairs. In the background of the room there is a fireplace that fills the space between the two chairs. In the open fireplace there is a small fire that crackles as the scene goes. On the back side of the wall, all the way around the room are built-in wooden shelves, adorned with hundreds of books. In the one chair, Todd Salum is sitting, appearing to be awaiting someone’s arrival.

A few seconds later, Johnny Johnson walks into the scene. Todd stands up and reaches out his hand to shake Johnny’s hand. However, Johnny completely ignores the gesture, he unbuttons the single button of his suit jacket and sits back into the other, vacant chair. Todd, looking a little annoyed at the slight by Johnny, just shakes his head as he sits back down into the other chair. Johnny is looking all over the place and trying to get comfortable in the chair as Todd appears to be looking for some sort of sign that Johnny is ready to begin things. With Johnny still not really acknowledging Todd, he takes initiative and begins the interview.

Todd Salum: Good Evening, Legend. I will say this is a lovely home you have here and I appreciate the olive branch to come here days before our trip to South Korea, for Meltdown. This is however, time that you requested with me. To not waste your time, let’s get right to the point, what exactly was the reasoning for you to ask for this sit down interview?

At this point, Johnny has sunk back into the seat a bit and has his arms resting on the arms of the chair. He has his hands clasped by his face, with his fingers pressed up against his lips. The look on his face looks a little like a mixture of deep thought and a bit of anger. As Todd asks the question, Johnny takes his hands away from his face and moves around his suit jacket a little bit more to get a little more comfortable. As he thinks about his response for the question his face also reveals a little bit of uncomfortableness. He then gives one last slight chuckle as he begins to speak.

Johnny Johnson: Well Todd, you are correct in that I asked you to come here. With what I wanted to say I thought it would be best to do so in the comfort of my own home.

Johnny looks over at Todd, a look of candor on his face. Amongst the candor there is concern shining through, on Johnny’s face.

Johnny Johnson: For me this conversation isn’t an easy one. I know for the most part, people see me as this strong-willed, masculine, god-like figure that probably wouldn’t be scared if he wound up in the middle of the jungle having to fight off a dozen Bengal Tigers, but the fact of the matter is Todd. There are things that shake me down. There are times where I feel like the things I know….

Johnny trails off a little bit, getting lost in his thoughts as he tries to find the next pile of words he wants to say.

Johnny Johnson: I asked you to come to my home because it’s the place I feel most secure. Face to face, man to man. As long as I have my eyes on that person across the ring, The Legend, fears no one. However, with what I know, and what I’m about to share with the rest of the world. I know once it’s out of Pandora’s box, people are going to try anything they can to silence me.

Johnny pauses for a second, drawing back in thought.

Johnny Johnson: Actually, it’s really only one person. With what I know about this single person, I know I am not safe from them doing anything possible to make sure I don’t see the light of day. And truthfully, knowing what I know, unless I have an armored security detail covering my back, I’m not safe once I leave this home of mine.

Todd looks over at Johnny, a bit in disbelief.

Todd Salum: Really, the information you have on one man has instilled that amount of fear within you? Please elaborate, because, and I mean no disrespect, this is certainly something I find hard to believe with who I’m hearing this from.

Johnny strokes his chin a few times and nods his head in agreement.

Johnny Johnson: No, Todd, that’s fine. I can see how someone like yourself wouldn’t understand. After all, someone like you. A physically weak, feeble-minded grunt could never understand anything that concerns someone like me. So really, I don’t see that question as disrespectful coming from your bumbling lips.

To elaborate on it all though. I’ll just put it like this. There are people in this world who are chameleons. I imagine with how feeble-minded you are you’re not familiar with what exactly a chameleon is and what it can do. Essentially when you are referring to a person as a “chameleon” it means they can blend in and hide themselves from everyone. With that they allow themselves to be camouflaged from everyone else noticing who exactly they are. The fact that I know, without a shadow of a doubt, what this man really is and he has the rest of the world fooled, truly shakes me down to my core.

Johnny begins to move around his chair, wearing an uncomfortable look on his face as he does. Settling back into his seat he continues to speak.

Johnny Johnson: I guess I shouldn’t be surprised. This world is a prison of incompetence that knows no bounds. When you have a group of people that still think that our world is as flat as the very floor our feet are set upon. I shouldn’t have hope that this world would see this fraud of a human being.

As Johnny takes a pause in his thoughts, Todd takes the opportunity to throw a question his way.

Todd Salum: Please Legend, I think we’ve danced around the subject of your ire, enough. Who exactly have you been speaking of for the past few minutes?

At first shocked a little bit at Todd’s interruption, a devilish smirk begins to shine through on Johnny’s face as Todd finishes his question.

Johnny Johnson: Oh, Todd, now that is the million dollar question, isn’t it? Who exactly would The Legend be calling a fraud? Who would he, vehemently, label as a charlatan? I thought better of you Todd, it’s why I chose you, out of anyone else that I could have to come to my place of residence and allow you the opportunity to spread my words to the masses. Per usual though, yes, per usual I once again have been disappointed by another weak minded soul of humanity.

Johnny completely stops talking for a few seconds and just stares over at Todd. His elbows on the arms of the chair and his fingers locked together. After a little bit you can tell that the entire moment is making Todd very uncomfortable, as he’s not completely sure what Johnny is going to do next. And just like that Johnny begins to laugh out loud.

Johnny Johnson:
You truly are a spineless, brainless, dope, aren’t you Todd. Much like the rest of the world. Nevertheless, the person that I have been circling around for the last few moments shouldn’t be a mystery to anyone. There was a point in time where he used to show his true colors. At one point, we were almost like brothers. He was a part of my family and I, a part of his. However, I can only assume it was due to my absence from the FWA, this man has become a wolf in sheep’s clothing. And it appears that The Legend alone, only recognizes this fact and because of that I need to be afraid.

I need to be afraid because I know what this man is capable of. I know just who he really is. I know that he is no hero of men. Furthermore, I also know that this is not the only treachery that oozes from this man.

Johnny stops for a second and takes a deep breath. Instead of looking over at Todd, Johnny turns his gaze straight at the camera. With a certainty in his eyes, Johnny continues on with his monologue.

Johnny Johnson: Tommy Bedlam, you wear that X Championship around your waist as if you are some type of hero amongst the dregs of society. You have indulged the peasants that spend their money to see you by acting as if you are one of them. You want to act like some do-gooder that will only get his hands dirty when it’s absolutely called for. You have fooled the people that cheer for you in that crowd into thinking that you are the type of person that gets pinned into a corner and only then will you get extreme.

I need to tell you something though Tommy, that isn’t good enough anymore. The Legend is back, The Legend might have failed in his journey to the World Title, but I have laid my eyes on another target. I thought long and hard about my defeat in gaining a match for the World title. It made me realize what I really must do. I need to expose you Tommy. I know you are no hero, I know you love to hurt people as much as I do. The fact is, since you’ve had that title around your waist, everyone else has been looking at you like you were the good guy. Tommy Bedlam, we once traveled this road together as Deathswitch Initiative, you are no good guy. You are as villainous as I am. You revel in the pain of others and your hunger is only quenched once you have the weak groveling before you for mercy.

Tommy, March 9th, it is time for me to give the people the real you. That is why I must enter the King of the Deathmatch. I’m not someone that usually feels the need to enter this type of trash wrestling tournament, but this treachery must be stopped. If no one else can see what I do in Tommy Bedlam, it only means it’s time for The Legend to get his hands dirty. No matter how much blood I lose, no matter what injuries I might suffer, no matter what I might have to do to a once, dear friend of mine. The Legend is going to enter King of The Deathmatch and ensure Tommy Bedlam is no longer allowed to charade around here as someone who he is not. Listen to my words Tommy, they are not something that I have thought about lightly. Come King of the Deathmatch, you will have a choice, either come to your senses and show the world who you really are or continue on this road of deceit and be swallowed up by the whirlwind that is coming your way.

Johnny finishes up his final words as he still stares straight into the camera with a real visceral look behind his eyes. The camera then fades into black and back to the rest of Meltdown

There’s a good cheer from the fans in Seoul, who immediately begin to get down to the fantastical music belonging to Halloween Knight. Orange strobe lights flicker around the arena as he dances out from the back once the music starts to drop. Halloween Knight is in good spirits and is accompanied by Juan Tothrefor and then Trash Mammal, who scurries out from behind them.

Katie-Lynn Goldsmith: “The following contest is a F1 Climaxxx Pool B match scheduled for one fall, with a twenty minute time limit. Introducing first, accompanied by Tr1ck or Tr4sh… from Torreon, Mexico and weighing in at two-hundred and twenty-one pounds… HALLOWEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEN KNIIIIIIIIIGHT!!!”

Rod Sterling: “Now it is over to Pool B here in the F1 Climaxxx, and we’re starting off with two men who fell short in their opening contests two weeks ago. Halloween Knight here put in a spirited performance against Big Bryan Bastard but was unable to overcome the North American Champion.”

Anzu Kurosawa: “This match is really do or die for Halloween Knight and Chris Peacock, but Halloween Knight here also has an upcoming shot at the FWA Trios Championships to look forward to at Fight Night when he, Trash Mammal and Juan Tothrefor take on reigning champions, The Coven.”

Halloween Knight slides into the ring and starts to do his special DANCE~! in the middle of the ring, with Juan and Trash Mammal cheering him on from the outside.

Despite the music changing, Halloween Knight is shown to still be dancing along with his opponent’s music as the catchy classic blares out of the speakers. One man who does not seem to be in the mood for dancing is surprisingly ‘The Greatest Dancer’ himself, Chris Peacock. The former FWA World Champion walks out with purpose, dressed in simple gear consisting of black trousers, boots and wrist tape.

Katie-Lynn Goldsmith: “His opponent, representing FTN… from Brooklyn, New York and weighing in at two-hundred and fifteen pounds… he is ‘Disco’s Last Warrior’... CHRIS PEEEAAAACCCCOOOOOOOOCKKK!!!”

Anzu Kurosawa: “Rod, this seems to be a much more serious Chris Peacock than what we’re used to; this is a man currently very unhappy with how things have been going here in the FWA. We saw on Fallout a couple of weeks ago his reuniting with Alyster Black as confirmation that FTN are back for good and they had some choice words for the FWA and those running things around here.”

Rod Sterling: “If you ask me, that seemed like a man trying to blame others for his problems. Peacock got embarrassed in two minutes by Xavien Marshall two weeks ago due to his own hubris. He can blame the company all he wants for that, but it was he who allowed himself to become so distracted by Jay Kenny.”

Once Peacock has joined him in the ring, Halloween Knight attempts to get Peacock to engage in a dance off with him. The response is an emphatically negative one in the form of a double bird flip. The music stops and Peacock takes up a spot in the corner, waiting for the match to start.

<< 00:00. >>

The bell rings and just like his previous match with Xavien Marshall, Peacock rushes his opponent and catches Halloween Knight with a running forearm to the face. This catches the Tr1ck or Tr4sh member off guard and knocks him to the mat. With Knight on the mat, Peacock lays into him with stomps and then drops to his knees, pummelling the masked man with repeated strikes. There is no chance for Knight to do anything as Peacock applies a Front Facelock and lifts him up from the canvas.

Some knees and clubs to the back follow, with Chris roaring in dominance once he has beaten Knight down to his knees. Both Juan Tothrefor and Trash Mammal seem concerned when Peacock steps back and takes up a position in the corner. They call out to their partner as Peacock runs in looking for THE STRUT - BUT KNIGHT DUCKS DOWN TO AVOID IT!

This causes Peacock to over shoot his run and Halloween Knight rolls him up from behind!

ONE… TWO… THREE-NO!!!

Anzu Kurosawa: “Peacock suffered a quick defeat to Xavien Marshall two weeks ago, but that would have been even more rapid had Halloween Knight pulled that off!”

Rod Sterling: “That would have been totally disastrous for the former FWA World Champion; with both of these men on zero points in Pool B as things stand. Whoever does not come out on top in this one has a big task ahead of them if they wish to advance to Wildcard Week and beyond.”

There is a slightly shaken expression on the face of Chris Peacock as he gets to his feet, but he immediately takes a Dropkick to the chest to take his mind off of the near fall. The impact puts Peacock in the corner. Halloween Knight rushes in, putting his feet on Peacock’s thighs and takes him over with a Monkey Flip out of the corner! The crowd cheers when Halloween Knight rises to his feet and does his little dance over the champion disco dancer. Peacock rises, angered, but is then sent flipping over with an Arm Drag!

A second follows as Peacock gets to his feet, but this time Halloween Knight keeps him in place and pulls back on Peacock’s arm. Knight’s knee is well positioned against the back of Peacock’s shoulder and Chris has to shift his weight around in order to escape it. Peacock shows off some of his own lucha moves by flipping Halloween Knight over to free himself.

Rod Sterling: “Chris Peacock seems to have been able to overcome that brief flurry from Halloween Knight, but there is still a lot more work to do.”

<< 05:20. >>

The fans in Seoul are shown to be slightly frustrated that Chris Peacock is on top in the match. He delivers another stomp to the knee of Halloween Knight, as Knight’s teammates watch on from the outside. They call out to him to spur him on in the match and find a way back into it. Peacock brings Knight up to his feet and it is clear that the luchador is struggling to support his own weight. Halloween Knight lunges forward for a punch, but Peacock is able to smoothly elevate him up onto his shoulders and he spins him around. After several rotations, Peacock delivers a Samoan Drop to complete Dance Dance Revolutions! The former FWA World Champion makes a cover;

ONE… TWO… THR-NO!!!

Halloween Knight kicking out causes Peacock to bristle and he gets up to stomp out his opponent some more. Bravely, Knight pulls himself up to a knee, but Peacock Pimp Slaps him across the face! The disrespect is clear, but it lights a fire under the festive combatant, who gets to his feet and rocks Peacock with a punch directly to the face!

Anzu Kurosawa: “There's still some fight left in Halloween Knight still, Rod! There aren’t many who would get into a fist fight with Chris Peacock, but Halloween Knight is not backing down. Not when his future in the F1 Climaxxx hangs in the balance.”

Peacock returns fire and the two begin to exchange shots to cheers and jeers from the watching crowd. There is some excitement as Halloween Knight manages to reel off a few strikes in a row, but Peacock cuts him off with a kick to the knee. ‘Disco’s Last Warrior’ hits the ropes… but HALLOWEEN KNIGHT CATCHES HIM WITH THE DIA DE LOS MUERTOS!! The Spinning Wheel Kick catches Peacock flush on the jaw and sends him flat out onto his back!

However getting into the air from a kneeling position and landing back down on his bum knee leaves Halloween Knight unable to follow up and go for the pin on his downed opponent.

Rod Sterling: “Halloween Knight could have had the match won there, but that knee Peacock has picked apart the entire match buckled. Here comes Halloween Knight now! Scratch and claw!”

Knight manages to shuffle himself on top of Peacock, unable to hook a leg as he is holding his own close to his chest;

ONE… TWO… THREE-NO!!!

Peacock kicks out at the very last moment, blowing the wind out of the sails and causing the fans to gasp in exasperation. Despite avoiding defeat, Peacock is slow to pull himself up and it is Halloween Knight that is able to get up first. He motions for Peacock to get up and loses patience, bundling Chris’s head in between his legs and he elevates Peacock into the air for the CRYPTONITE CRUNCH PILEDRIVER - BUT KNIGHT’S KNEE GIVES WAY AGAIN! Peacock falls back and lands on his feet, and he Back Body Drops Knight over his head!

It is a hard landing for Halloween Knight, and he is left sitting up in the middle of the ring. Peacock gets up and hits the ropes… AND COMES BACK TO RUN THROUGH KNIGHT WITH THE STRUT!!! Peacock doesn’t pin, instead grabbing the knee and applying the COMMENTATOR’S CURSE!!! The Kneebar causes Halloween Knight instant pain, and after a couple of seconds, he taps out!

Winner: Chris Peacock via submission at 7:12.

Peacock releases the submission almost immediately a relieved grin forms across his face. He rises to his feet and has his arm raised by the official whilst Halloween Knight is helped out of the ring by his partners.

Katie-Lynn Goldsmith: “Here is your winner… CHRIS PEACOCK!”

Rod Sterling: “You can see what this victory means to Chris Peacock, Anzu; before tonight he had not recorded a victory here in the FWA since September. Five months without a win for the former FWA World Champion, but that has changed tonight. You can tell that this is one that he really wanted to make sure with.”

Anzu Kurosawa: “Of course a chance for him to make that two wins in a row when FTN take on Deathswitch this Saturday night on Fallout. Also this leaves Pool B in an interesting position - Halloween Knight needs to defeat Xavien Marshall to have any chance of qualifying, but that also depends on Bryan Baxter beating Marshall here tonight on Meltdown.”

Rod Sterling: “Let’s take a look at what this result has done to Pool B…”

Screenshot-2024-02-08-8-15-06-PM.png

Rod Sterling: “Peacock draws level on two points with Baxter and Marshall, and has given himself a real chance of at least qualifying for Wildcard Week. The winner of tonight’s main event though will head into Fight Night as the group leader.”

Exiting the ring, Peacock takes a glance and enjoys a smirk at Tri1ck or Tr4sh, who are mostly concerned with helping out Halloween Knight. The camera get close to him and he flashes a grin - “Do something about THAT, fuckers.”[/color][/b]

Xavien Marshall slowly walks out from the back with a sinister look on his face and his FWA World Tag Team Championship over his shoulder. There is an assured aura around him and he looks briefly over his shoulder. The crowd greets Marshall with loud boos, which he welcomes with a smirk on his face. There’s no Jay Kenny with him this week but Marshall doesn’t seem too concerned.

Katie-Lynn Goldsmith: “The following contest is an F1 Climaxxx Pool B match, scheduled for one fall with a twenty minute time limit and is our MAIN EVENT of the evening! Introducing first, from East Cleveland, Ohio… weighing in at two hundred eighteen pounds… he is one half of the reigning FWA Tag Team CHAMPIONS OF THE WORLD…. XAVIEN MARRRRRSSSHALLLLLL!!!”

Rod Sterling: “The impressive run for Xavien Marshall continued last time on Meltdown when he defeated former FWA Champion Chris Peacock in less than three minutes!”

Anzu Kurosawa: “Let’s not forget that Marshall’s tag partner, Jay Kenny, had something to do with that.”

Rod Sterling: “That is true, and FTN was sure to repay the favor on Fallout when they cost Jay Kenny a shot at the FWA Championship. Obviously there’s still a lot left unsettled between FTN and the tag champions. But no matter how it happened, the standings have Xavien off to an impressive 1-0 in the F1.”

Anzu Kurosawa: “This guy already has the tag titles… already has a shot at the X Title waiting for him from the Gunfight… and if he wins the F1, he gets the North American Title AND a shot the FWA Championship… how many championships does one man need?”

Rod Sterling: “All of them Anzu. All of them!”

With an air of both confidence and intensity, Xavier makes his way down the ring, sliding through the bottom rope. He continues to soak in the boos as he awaits his opponent.

The boos continue as there is not much favor from the fans for Marshall’s opponent either. Bryan Baxetr slowly walks out from the back, rubbing his wrists as a way to warm up. Baxter stops on the stage to pull back his lead letterman jacket, the word “BASTARD” embroidered on the back, to reveal the FWA North American Title.

Katie-Lynn Goldsmith: “And his opponent… from Hickory, North Carolina, weighing in at three hundred twelve pounds, representing the Friendship Wrestling Alliance… he is the current FWA North American Champion…. BIG BBBBBBRRRRRRRRRRRRYAN BBBBBAAAAAAAAASSSSTARD!”

Rod Sterling: “And speaking of the North American Champion, here he comes! Much like Marshall, Big Bryan Bastard also find himself up 1-0 after a win over Halloween Knight to kick off the F1.”

Anzu Kurosawa: “Triple B is quickly approaching a big date… the record setting date for his North American title reign, but let’s not forget he has a date with Mike Parr before he can set that record. Bryan Baxter has to be careful to not be looking past Marshall toward that big matchup with Parr in a couple weeks.”

Rod Sterling: “I think we’ve all seen enough of Xavien Marshall by now to know it would be a huge mistake to underestimate him. He may not have been here long, but he’s established himself as a big deal and has a chance to add yet another huge notch to his belt here.”

Big Bryan Bastard eyes Xavien as he walks down the ramp. He climbs up onto the apron and the two continue to stare each other down, the intensity immeasurable between the two. Bryan enters the ring, removing his jacket and championship belt, handing them off to ringside as this one is about to get underway.

<< 00:00. >>

The bell rings to start the match as both Marshall and Bryan Bastard meet in the center of the ring. Marshall jaw jacks with Baxter, talking trash right in Bryan’s face, while Bryan just stands, absorbing it all with a slight smirk on his face. The crowd booing both of them while Marshall appears to be getting a little frustrated that his trash talk is having no phase on BBB. So when the trash talk fails to get under the skin of the North American champion, Xavien makes the first contact of the match with a SLAP right to the face of Baxter!

“Oooooh!” the crowd responds while Baxter’s head flings to the side but snaps right back… and a smile crosses his face! He taps his cheek, daring Xavien to do it again. Marshall shrugs and this time connects with a right hand to the side of Bryan’s face.

This time, Bryan comes back with a big right hand of his own. Marshall fires back with another right hand, but the bigger and more powerful absorbs the blows and begins to unload on Marshall now with a series of punches, rocking him back to the ropes.

Rod Sterling: ”Getting into a slugfest with Bryan Bastard may not be the best way to start this match out.”

Working Marshall to the ropes, Bryan brings down a forearm shiver to the chest before Irish whipping Marshall into the ropes. Xavien bounces off the ropes, coming back at Bastard who goes for a clothesline, but Marshall ducks under. Marshall keeps steaming, heading to the opposite ropes, bouncing back off and Bryan ducks down for a back drop, but Xavien roll across his back! Marshall lands on his feet behind Bryan, who turns around into a step up enziguri!

Bastard staggers backward as Marshall hits a pair of open hand chops to Baxter’s chest, which seems to just make Bastard angrier. Bryan snarls as he comes back with a short arm clothesline attempt, but Marshall ducks under and drops Bryan with a neckbreaker instead!

Bryan rolled to his side as Marshall runs to the ropes and hits a low dropkick to Bryan as he is getting up, sending Bryan through the ropes to the apron. Baxter grabs the ropes, pulling himself up as Xavien springboards off the ropes and hits a kick to the side of Bryan’s head - sending him falling off the apron to ringside. He lands on his feet, but Marshall gets another head of steam as he runs to the ropes and DIVES through the ropes with a suicide dive that connects to Bryan!

The North American champion is staggered by the dive, but not taken down! Marshall rolls back into the ring, running to the ropes once again and looking to try and take BBB down this time as he dives through the ropes again…

But BRYAN CATCHES HIM!

He charges with Marshall, slamming Xavien BACK FIRST into the ring post! He then backs up and charges in for a second RAM into the ring post before POWERSLAMMING MARSHALL TO THE FLOOR!

Anzu Kurosawa: “Just as it looked like Marshall had the momentum in his favor, the power of Bryan Bastard shows itself again!”

Marshall clutches his back on the ground as Baxter stalks over him, delivering a series of kicks to the back now. Xavien grabs the ring apron to try and pull himself away from the attacks of Bryan Bastard, but BBB is all over him with more stomps to the back before he grabs a handful of Xavien’s hair to pull him back up to his feet… only to HURL Marshall BY HIS HAIR into the ringsteps!

Not satisfied yet with the damage he has done yet on the outside, Bryan backs up… surveying the scene of Marshall leaned up against the ring steps…

AND CHARGES IN WITH A CANNONBALL SPLASH INTO THE RINGSTEPS! Marshall is sandwiched between three hundred pounds of Bryan Bastard and the steel ringsteps!

Baxter sits up to a knee, grabs Xavien and rolls him back into the ring before following in himself. Back in the ring, Bryan bounces off the ropes and hits a big running SPLASH onto Marshall and now hooks a leg!

ONE! TWO! KICKOUT!

<< 7:12. >>

Rod Sterling: ”Bryan Bastard continues to pick apart Xavien Marshall… the tag champion has been in trouble since Bryan retook control outside the ring!”

Bryan drives Xavien down to the mat with a spinning sitout powerbomb into a high stack pin..

ONE!

TWO!

KICKOUT!

Bryan is undeterred by another kickout, continuing on the attack, not even giving Marshall a chance to get to his feet as he runs to the ropes and hits a big shoulder tackle to Marshall as he attempted.

The North American Champion once again grabs a handful of Marshall’s hair to pull him back up, and now lifts him up onto his back into a Torture Rack!

But out of desperation, Marshall sinks his fingers into Bryan’s eyes! This causes Baxter to release the submission, bringing Marshall back to the mat on his feet, as Marshall continues to dig his fingers into Baxter’s face, ignoring the warnings from referee Tommy Palmer!

Finally, Xavien removes his fingers with a RAKE of the face! BBB is blinded as Marshall rushes the ropes and rocks him with a big running forearm! With the big man staggering, Marshall rushes to the opposite ropes… with another running forearm! Baxter is still staggered but Xavien leaps up with a roundhouse kick!

Baxter drops to a knee.. But begins to get right back up, bent over as Marshall hits the ropes…

SCISSOR KICK!

The crowd actually begins to pop for Marshall’s comeback.

Anzu Kurosawa: “Is that cheers I’m hearing for Xavien Marshall??”

Rod Sterling: ”The fans had to pick a side eventually I guess… and with Xavien being in comeback mode, perhaps it's Bryan Bastard who is the greater of two evils in the ring right now.”

Xavien completes his comeback by running to the ropes and smashing his knee into Baxter’s race with the Switch Knee! Baxter collapses to the mat on his back and Marshall makes the cover!

One!

Two!

Th - KICKOUT!

Marshall sits up to his knees, shaking his head… but the crowd comes alive..

Not because they are excited about the kickout from Bastard..

But because CHRIS PEACOCK has walked out from the back, standing at the top of the aisle, immediately catching the gaze of Xavien Marshall, who looks disgusted to see the former FWA Champion.

Rod Sterling: ”Chris Peacock is here, Anzu… and Xavien Marshall is understandably no happy to see one half of FTN.”

Anzu Kurosawa: “So far he’s just watching it seems… but just the appearance of Peacock seems to be getting into Marshall’s head!”

<< 12:31. >>

Chris Peacock continues to just watch from the stage as Marshall still has the upperhand on the North American champion, but is unable to keep the big man down.

The tag champion brings Baxter’s big frame up and attempts to hook him for a brainbuster, but he’s unable to get the big man up off his feet. Instead, Bryan battles back, reversing it into a brainbuster attempt of his own, but Marshall blocks it with another rake of the eyes to Baxter! Marshall comes back down and connects with a Pele Kick to BBB, once again staggering the big man before ducking a wild, blinded right hand from him, Marshall scores with a go-behind to lock BBB in a waist lock…

And manages to lift him up..

GERMAN SUPLEX!

But Marshall is unable to bridge for the pin, as lifting up the three hundred plus pounder had taken a tole on his back, causing Xavien to be slow to recover. Marshall finally gets up but does not go for the pin, instead he begins to climb the turnbuckle…

Once again locking eyes with Peacock. Marshall has some choice words for Chris, but Peacock laughs and tells Marshall he might want to keep his eyes on the ring…

Because BAXTER WAS UP! AND HE SHOVES MARSHALL OFF THE TOP ROPE, SENDING HIM CRASHING TO RINGSIDE!

Anzu Kurosawa: “The presence of Chris Peacock proving to be a costly distraction for Marshall!”

Rod Sterling: ”Marshall is letting Peacock get into his head… so far all Chris is guilty of is getting a closer look at his F1 opponents… to be fair.”

Taking a moment to catch his breath, Baxter steps through the ropes, jumping down to the floor. As he begins to grab Marshall, he spots Peacock for the first time himself, and now it’s Baxter who has some words for Chris.

“Worry about handling your business, big boy,” Peacock warns Baxter, who responds with a middle finger salute to the former FWA World and Tag Champ before sending Marshall back into the ring. Though the gesture from Baxter seemed to annoy Peacock, as he he begins to walk down the aisle, getting closer to the ring.

Back in the ring, Baxter brings Marshall to the center of the ring and locks him in for the Bastard Driver…

But Marshall escapes down the back!

DECAPITATOR TO BAXTER!

DOWN GOES BAXTER!

But before Marshall can take advantage with the pin, PEACOCK IS ON THE APRON!

Xavien confronts Peacock and the two have a war of words while the FWA official Tommy Palmer interjects himself into the argument. Palmer warns Peacock and tells him to hit the bricks… while Baxter begins to recover…

Meanwhile Marshall shoves Peacock on the apron, but Peacock maintains his balance and SHOVES Marshall back!

Marshall stumbles backward where Baxter spins him around!

HARD RIGHT HAND FROM BAXTER!

XAVIEN DROPS TO THE MAT NOW! Baxter tucks a pair of brass knux back into his tights, undetected by the referee!

Rod Sterling: ”The brass knuckles from Bryan Bastard! We’ve seen him win countless matches with this and the distraction from Peacock may have just cost Marshall the match!”

Bryan goes for the pin as Larry Stevens leaves Peacock to make the count!

ONE!

TWO!

THREE!

NO!

Xavien with his shoulder up!

His eyes are wide as he sits up from his pin attempt, Baxter’s face shows his frustration. He gets up and now sets his sights on Chris Peacock, approaching him on the apron. ”Get the fuck outta here!” Bastard demands, grabbing Peacock by the collar of his shirt.

”Make me you fat fuck!”

Baxter snarls as he PULLS PEACOCK THROUGH THE ROPES and into the ring!

Rod Sterling: ”This seems like a mistake… Xavien may have kicked out but Bryan still had him where he wanted him… Chris Peacock may be his next opponent in the F1 but he can’t be worrying about him right now!”

While Baxter has Peacock and Larry Stevens is busy trying to get in between them… Marshall crawls over from behind…

LOW BLOW to BRYAN BASTARD!

While it went undetected by Stevens, Peacock saw it all and responds with a “oooh that’s gotta hurt,” look as Bryan doubles over in pain and Marshall drops back over, having delivered the move in desperation.

Larry Stevens orders Chris Peacock to leave… and Peacock throws up his arms, and seems to give in reluctantly… turning to leave..

BUT INSTEAD TURNS AROUND AND LAYS OUT STEVENS WITH A RIGHT HAND!

Anzu Kurosawa: “What the Hell is going on?!”

With Stevens down, Peacock approaches both Baxter and Marshall as they are struggling to recover..

THE STRUT TO MARSHALL!

As Xavien drops to the mat, Peacock smirks, seemingly proud of his attack… as he turns to Baxter…

THE STRUT TO BRYAN BASTARD!

Peacock begins putting the boots to both of the fallen competitors as Larry Stevens rolls out of the ring, clutching his jaw… and he’s calling for the bell!

Rod Sterling: ”Larry Stevens has seen enough! He’s calling for the bell! This match is over!”

Anzu Kurosawa: “But what’s the verdict here? What’s it mean for the F1 standings!?”

Larry stumbles over to Katie-Lynn Goldsmith to deliver his outcome…

Winner: Draw via Double Disqualification at 15:49.

The fans boo the outcome as both competitors of the evening lay on the mat, with Chris Peacock standing tall in a match he wasn’t even a part of.

Katie-Lynn Goldsmith: “Ladies and gentlemen, the result of this match due to a double disqualification… is… a DRAW!”

Anzu Kurosawa: “A draw!? What? No! Come on!”

Rod Sterling: ”I think these fans would agree with you on all of those sentiments, Anzu. Chris Peacock has let his personal issues with both Xavien Marshall and Bryan Bastard interfere with the F1 competition! He single handedly has kept both of his competitors in the tournament from scoring a win tonight!”

Anzu Kurosawa: “Was it personal or was it strategy from Peacock?”

Rod Sterling: ”Perhaps a lot of Column A and a little bit of Column B.”

Peacock finally backs away, smiling at his handiwork as both Baxter and Marshall are down and out. He lifts up his arms, climbing out of the ring, leaving victorious.

Rod Sterling: ”This is certainly not the way I thought we’d be closing out another exciting night of F1 action… but with our first ever draw in the F1 tournament… let’s take a look at our updated standings…”

Screenshot-2024-02-08-8-15-26-PM.png

Rod Sterling: ”With Peacock, Marshall, and Baxter all at a win a piece… this pool is wide open heading into Fight Night!”

Xavien Marshall rolls out of the ring, shoving the ring steps over in a display of his frustration while Bryan Baxter begins to get up in the ring as well. Larry Stevens, still licking his wounds from the shot he took from Peacock, climbs into the ring, looking to hand the North American title to Baxter, who quickly snatches it out of the hands of the FWA official.

Baxter lifts up the title proudly.

Rod Sterling: ”Tonight did not go as Baxter wanted to say the least but at least he’s still…”

The crowd comes alive as they notice Mike Parr jumping the guard rail and sliding into the ring!

Anzu Kurosawa: “What a minute, we’re not done yet! The Prodigy’s here!”

”BAXTER!”

Parr calls out for the champ, as Bryan’s eyes grow wide. He slowly turns around…

SHINING WIZARD from Parr!

Baxter is out on his feet…

ROLLING CUTTER FROM PARR lays the North American champion out!

Mike Parr stands up over Bryan Bastard, and catches a glimpse of the North American title. He leans over and picks it up… staring down at the it as he holds it in his arms.

Rod Sterling: ”The Prodigy is no stranger to that belt. As of right now he holds the record for the longest title reign in the history of the belt… and if he can defeat Big Bryan Bastard on February 22nd… he will still have the record and once again be the North American Champion!”

Parr lifts the belt up, garnering a big reaction from the crowd before bringing it back down. He looks at the title one more time, ”See you soon,” he says… a comment that could apply to both Baxter or the championship… and then he drops the belt down onto Baxter’s prone body.

Meltdown comes to a close with Parr standing tall.
