I have two rules when it comes to horse racing and the first is I can never bet on the favourite. It is just something I can never get myself to do as the odds are never that great, although they aren't to bad here, for the favourite. My worry with Dunaden and Americain is their age and the amount of weight they are carrying. My second rule doesn't apply here because I won't be at the race. Basically if I take photos of the horses I bet on I lose, so my rule is I don't take photos of horses I bet on and they win.

I like Ethiopia and Kelinni here, outsiders yes but in a race like this they can do the distance and aren't carrying much weight. Went for a couple of sneaky bets on Niwot and Tac de Boistron but I see them more as outsiders for a place.
