McMahons late on tax bill, opponent rips Linda, campaign explains lateness

The latest financially-driven back-and-forth between former WWE CEO Linda McMahon and her Connecticut Senate opponent, Chris Murphy, revolves around Vince and Linda McMahon being 51 days late on a property tax payment for a million-dollar condo they co-own in Stamford, Conn. According to the Hartford Courant, the McMahons were late on paying half of their annual $54,110 tax bill. Friday, the McMahons paid the full year bill, plus $1,217 in interest.

Murphy's campaign jumped on McMahon for being "caught red-handed skipping out on the taxes on her $4 million luxury penthouse at the Trump Tower and only paid it back today." McMahon's campaign responded that the city of Stamford only mailed the tax bill two weeks ago (Sept. 13) and it was "the only bill received by the McMahons for this tax period." McMahon's campaign spokesman went further with the response, claiming Murphy is "just another corrupt, career politician who will do or say anything to get elected to higher office."

Linda's Senate campaign is not the only reason they are PG, so don't think Linda's defeat will bring us back to TV-14. Also, Property Tax is bullshit.
