According to the Brazilian MMA news source Tatame, former UFC light heavyweight champion Mauricio "Shogun" Rua will face Antonio Rogerio Nogueira later this year. The site also confirmed the bout would not take place in Brazil, but is likely to happen in June.
Rua (21-7) defeated Nogueira back in 2005 when both men fought for PRIDE. Rua is coming off a loss to Alexander Gustafsson late in 2012.

Nogueira (21-5) defeated ex-UFC champion Rashad Evans earlier this year, returning from a long layoff. He asked for a rematch with Rua back in 2012.

After the way both of these guys last fought it's really hard for me to expect much in this fight, but it might be decent. Can't see it headlining a PPV or anything, maybe an FX show or something.

Good fight, this is the sort of fight that both guys should be put in. Neither one is going to be a contender even in the shallow as all hell LHW division. Using them in legend fights and avoiding having them potentially knock off up and comers and/or pad an up and comers record is silly.
