TNA star Matt Morgan was diagnosed with a torn pectoral muscle and is expected to be out of the ring for at least six weeks. He is very lucky as had the tear been worse, he would have required surgery that would have kept him out of the ring several months.

Good news for Morgan. I like what he has done in TNA and I hope that once he heals he is back in the hunt for the TNA title. He could be a good champion in TNA.

Has Morgan even been a Champion in TNA before?

Hope when he returns HE actually wins the title.

He won the tag team title with Hernadez but he hasn't won any singles titles in TNA. Surprises me because he is really agile for a big man and his wrestling has improved a lot over the years. Should have at least been given a run with the TV title although admittedly the TV title doesn't mean much at the moment.

Morgan not being a champion in TNA just shows their inability to make new stars. He should've been TNA champion almost two years ago.

They just don't pull the final trigger. They build them up, put them in the mainevent, give them title shots but don't go the final step and give them the title. It happened to Matt Morgan and he should be feuding with guys like Samoa Joe and Pope for the title.

Seriously sucks Matt has yet to win a Singles title. He is talented for his height and size, why do they think he isn't capable enough of being Champion?

Another reason why I despise TNA

I can't understand it either. TNA have done a lot more with him than WWE but they still aren't doing enough. He seems to tick every box except for the fact he didn't have a big WWE run before coming to TNA.

Do you think there would be a chance of WWE trying to sign Morgan once his TNA deal nears the end? Morgan would seem to be the perfect fit for WWE and TNA have shown WWE that Morgan can do more than stutter.

I'd like Morgan in WWE, preferably Smackdown if he's going to play as a face. He'd be able to have good matches against bigger and smaller guys. He's proven to have many good matches with any one of sizes so I cannot see why he isn't being pushed like he should be

Morgan just needs to have the trigger oulled on him, going back to WWE would be a terrible idea since they wouldn't push him. TNA means nothing, sure he has improved leaps and bounds since joining TNA, but it doens't mean he will become a big deal in WWE.

Well I still see Morgan as a mid-carder at best, I really don't see all the fuss you guys are making over him. He has decent mic skills which he should be allowed to use more, but in ring he is very claimsy, yes he moves pretty well for a man his size, but his move set is so limited and unremarkable. Personally I don't think he is good enough to main event, but like I said elsewhere it is sink or swim time, if TNA don't give him a shot now it might be too late.

A move back to WWE might actaully benefit him, just because he has faced just about everyone in TNA, and has now hit a break wall, whereas in WWE there will be lots of fresh feuds waiting, and at least they have mid-card titles he could win and find his level.
