Breaking his arm BEATING his brother...
An unsuccessful draft to RAW..
Undergoing ANOTHER surgery...
Back to Smackdown where he is once again forced to flush all of his progress and momentum at establishing his own name down the toilet.

Seriously. What better timing would there have been to have Matt strike out on his own. His brother Jeff is out of picture, which is what he ultimately wanted. No little brother around to be compared to... just Matt and his snazzy new tights to make a name for himself over on Smackdown.

But alas! It was completely necessary for him to return just two weeks before Jeff was going to leave anyway just to undo the months of feuding they had and reunite once again on Smackdown. Did we really need to see this happen? Surely Matt's return could have waited until the more oppurtune moment of Jeff being put out of action by CM Punk. It wasn't even as if their reunion made some spectacular PPV buy rates and was the showcase of one of WWE's major events of the year. NO, Matt was not even featured at Summerslam. So essentially... everything they worked for to get Matt over as a singles competitor with his own imagine and style has gone up in smoke.

With the return of Undertaker at last night's PPV it's quite obvious that Matt won't even receive the common sense follow up of chasing CM Punk for the title that he robbed from his once again beloved brother. Nope, once again doomed to float through the mid-card of Smackdown is Matt Hardy.

So...guys...what's next for our Sensei of Mattitude?

This particular return is the proverbial shit sandwich! F’king pointless...

There’s not even any point of having Punk mad at Matt for previously costing him the title in his rematch from NOC... Punk got what he wanted anyway and Matt doesn’t represent the same attitude/culture as Jeff (in fact he’s condemned it a shit load this year!).

To be honest, I think since he was drafted to SD after his fued with Edge he’s largely kept his spot on the roster due to the Hardy ’brand’ work and ethic alone.


Best thing that could happen to Matt right now is Ziggler winning that IC belt so he can challenge for that, but Ziggler > Matt in a b-i-i-i-i-g way, IMO.

I think that they might actually try to push Matt Hardy as a face

next PPV is the submission one

they could make it a triple threat

would make sense cuz i doubt takers gonna submit any time soon and CM Punk should lose the WHC strait away

so if they add Matt, CM Punk would have the win and Taker wouldnt have to submit

Matt Hardy in a world title match with the Undertaker would be a big step in the right direction

And why the fuck, in Kayfaybe, does Matt deserve a title shot? (Ok, you could ask the same of Taker, but that's another debate)....

A certain guy named John Morrison who has cleanly beat the current champ twice in the last month would REALLY like to know.




They could do a lot of things, but taking into account what's come before Matt attempting to jump into Jeffs shoes as a face will suck HARD.

until Morrison can cut a decent promo or at least not make you cringe when hes on the mic hes never gonna be in the main event

Matt is way better on the mic than Morrison thats not to say Matts good its just Morrison really isnt

and with jeff out after the TLC match with CM Punk Matt may have a reason to fued with Punk
