SummerSlam Match Cut From SummerSlam Pay-Per-View

- Brodus Clay and Damien Sandow, who have been feuding on WWE programming in recent weeks, were scheduled to face off at SummerSlam but their match was nixed due to time constraints.

Both the WWE Championship and WWE Tag Team Championship bouts were shortened due to time constraints because the production team wanted to make sure there would be enough time for the aftermath of the Triple H vs. Brock Lesnar bout since The Game’s farewell scene will play a vital role in storylines going forward.

The WWE championship should have been in the main event. It is the crown jewel of the company, it's the championship everybody works hard to get. I understand that the Triple H vs Brock Lesnar match was built up, personal(kayfabe), and going to be good, but the WWE Championship should always be the most important thing in the industry. Especially at a big Pay-Per-View like Summerslam. WWE really needs to fix this up, and Triple H needs to stay out of the ring.
