For those who didn't know, Mason Ryan returned to WWE programming appearing on Superstars defeating JTG. He debuted a new song called 'Last Days' and when he came out he did the Y2J Jericho Pose where he'd turn his face back against the audience and stretch his hands out wide.

Here's the video of the match;

What are your thoughts on him returning, him using Jericho's pose?

I like that they have altered his character slightly so that he no longer has any links to Nexus. Hair will take a bit to get used to but other than that I like the new music. The entrance pose is slightly different to Jericho's so I don't mind him doing it. I like that he is now using the pumphandle slam as his finisher, been some time since that has been the finisher of a WWE wrestler. Hopefully they give him some time on Superstars before bringing him back onto RAW.

Very good to see Mason Ryan back so soon considering there was a possibility of him being out for a maximum of 6 months.

I don't have a problem with him using a similar pose to Jericho, although Jericho jumped on his high horse on Twitter and claims that Ryan has "no respect". Personally, I don't think that's fair. It's just a pose...

As for the match, it may not have been anything great, but I don't think Ryan showed any signs of being green in the ring. That's an encouraging sign, along with the fact the crowd seemed to get behind him a little. I look forward to seeing what direction he goes in, but I hope he isn't pushed too fast.

On a side note, I wonder what his mystery injury was.
